3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Tap at Marriott in downtown KC. Light copper pour with white head that disappeared quickly. Caramel, apricot, bread, citrus. Nice carbonation initially that balances out with bitterness and slight sweetness that last until the finish. Nice pale ale.
Perfect everyday beer. I buy it by the 20 pack from Sams. It'll never be Bells Two Hearted but until I can get that for .90 cents a bottle, this will do very well. mcberko (19837) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - DEC 30, 2017
12 oz. bottle, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma is massively oxidized, with cardboard, toasted biscuity malt and subdued earthy hops. Flavour is so cardboardy, with toasted biscuity malt, cardboard and subdued hops. Thanks Eugene for the oxidized tick. DiarmaidBHK (6143) - Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 1, 2017
Sampler at Boulevard Beer Hall. Pours golden with a white head. Leaves a lot of lacing in the glass. Lots of caramel malt on the nose and tongue along with a smaller citrus notes. Finished clean. A little too muted for my tastes mjmoen (626) - - JUN 17, 2017

Meh all the way around. Smells like a watered down pale ale. I do like the hue. Taste is bland. Wouldn’t have again unless someone gave me one early in the morning. p0rkch0p (137) - Missouri, USA - MAR 21, 2017
Amber color with mild fruity taste. The original Boulevard. I like how they even will tell you its not their best, but its their first. Almost 20 years ago i had my first, all these years later i can appreciate this one. Voodoo (715) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 15, 2017
Pours a light copper, golden with a pillowy head which lingers......aroma of sweet bread.....taste is crisp but sweet fruitiness up front, very slight biscuit, finishing with a clean easy bitterness. Refreshing. Blairgus (4615) - California, USA - DEC 21, 2016
21 Dec 2016, tap at Boulevard. Light gold, clear, no bubbles. Nose is sweet golden malt and mild grassy Ned body and fizzy. Sweet malt, bitter slightly skunky/grassy. Decent. thedm (6320) - Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA - DEC 14, 2016
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a strongly carbonated transparent orange brown colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The aroma was hoppy malty and musty. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium hoppy aftertaste. The ok flavor contained notes of breads and hops. Not one that I would likely drink again.
