Can from Thirsty The Beer Shop, River Valley Road, Singapore. Poured a slightly hazy medium amber with a long-lasting thin white head. The aroma is citrus, pine needle. The flavour is moderate bitter with a citrus, light floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. oldrtybastrd (5228) - Fort Walton Beach, Florida, USA - APR 24, 2016

I guess it was inevitable I’d have a Boulevard beer in KC. This one was at Joe’s BBQ. Moderate bitterness. Malty balance. A decent session IPA. hoptimusPrimed (159) - SPAIN - MAR 20, 2016

I’m not sure this beer requires that I dissect it like this buts been a bit of a journey through this sixpack, makes me think I need to re evaluate how I rate beers and rate at the larger scale of sixpacks or even greater quantities spread over over large time scales. Whatever. I initially didn’t pay much attention. I had a long day. I was hungry. and damn was I thirst. I threw 2 of these down without hardly thinking. I noticed that I enjoyed the hop profile and it was otherwise light bodied and went down fast. The next day I thought "its funny how nowadays brewers are making pale ales and calling them session IPAs". After that I thought, man the malt profile in this beer is strongly lagerish. Put it all together, I guess its an OK beer. Hopping is a bit citric, not overdone so that its hop juice. Malts are clean light, grainy. Light bodied and goes down like a pale lager for sure.

12 oz bottle. Pours a mostly clear golden color and topped by a small layer of off white foam that fades quickly to a thin film. The aroma shows notes of citrus fruit, orange, and grapefruit over a pale malt base with some citrus and pine hop bitterness on the back end. The flavor follows with the orange and grapefruit up front along with some pale malt sweetness and moderate hop bitterness on the back end. Medium bodied with balanced carbonation that leads to a moderately bitter sweet finish. Nice enough session IPA, but nothing makes it stand out from the pack. ThreeCats (1003) - ISRAEL - JAN 13, 2016
