Dal9000 (692) - Ohio, USA - MAR 24, 2018
Pours dark murky copper with a tan head. Aroma of brown sugar. Immediate taste of malty rye whiskey sweetness. From bushes with a alcohol lingering. I appreciate the effort but it was too much to finish the glass.

UPDATED: MAR 24, 2018 Draught. Pours a murky dark red with a quickly fading light beige bubbly head. Aroma is of dark fruits, plum, sherry, rye, bourbon. Taste is of caramel, plum, dark fruits, brown sugar, rye, cinnamon. Sticky, light oily mouthfeel, soft to medium carbonation. hman43 (2012) - Pinehurst, North Carolina, USA - MAR 17, 2018
It pours amber with some orange hues. The head is a very light brown. Head retention is low. The first aroma impression is that of high levels of rye and rye whiskey. There are also aromas of cherries and low bread in the background. There are very low hints of other dark fruits that are distinguishable. The flavors are high in rye with a good dose of whiskey and alcohol. There are cherries that are in the background with maybe a small hint of blackberries. There is also a bit of spice. It has a full body with smooth alcohol warming. It is moderately bitter with a hint of sweetness in the finish. Overall, this beer is excellent especially if you love rye. benpickens (556) - Camarillo, California, USA - MAR 12, 2018
Pours copper bronze with a billowy head and huge boozy, oaky, vanilla, bourbon nose; nice smooth palate with a edgy alcoholic burn to the finish. Nice.

Pours a clear dark amber with a slight off white head which is gone quickly......aroma of rum, brown sugar.....taste is booze, then booze, then dried figs, slight rye grain spiciness near the end, quite dry with mild bitterness. Interesting item, I may have another as I'm not driving. Kleg (522) - The Beach, Florida, USA - MAR 6, 2018
Draft sample. 12.0 ABV and 47 IBU. Clear amber color with a small off-white head. Nose of heavy whiskey. Taste follows the nose. Way too strong alcohol and whiskey flavors. No beer flavor here. At least it's smooth. Tick. katrinaez (2527) - norristown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 2, 2018
UPDATED: MAR 2, 2018 Thick rye aroma, strong bready taste with a bitter kick, lots of cherry cedars after notes. if you like rye beers, you'll like this one, bottle. AWISLguy (3609) - Wisconsin, USA - FEB 27, 2018
12oz bottle from Three Cellars in the Falls. When in St Louis, why not try a Boulevard ... even if bought out of state. Unclear amber brown pour with a beige head leaving little lace. Aroma has sweet and rye malts, a touch of fruit and booze. Taste is of sweet whiskey, rye malt with some toffee. Medium to full bodied, the blend is fine, and this is boozy. Finishes sweet with whiskey. The whiskey is fine, but a bit one dimensional. Would have liked a stronger rye graininess in the mix. 13.5 BlackBeerPG (1096) - Darien, Illinois, USA - FEB 26, 2018
Taste: smooth smoked rye, woody, slight whiskey booze bite. Wood barrel nose. Brown hue, slight opaque, tan head with rings of lace. Medium/full body. I had the 2018 Vintage and it sneaks up on you.
