COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Situated at opposite ends of the California Trail, pioneering breweries Sierra Nevada and Boulevard have embarked upon a journey into the unknown, to a land where adventures in brewing and flavor await. Terra Incognita is, fittingly, an earthy beer, celebrating the unique terroir of the two locations. Beginning with Sierra Nevada’s estate-grown pale malt, and combined with amber malt, wheat, and malted wheat, it is then assertively hopped with Bravo and Styrian Goldings, dry-hopped with East Kent Goldings, and finally barrel aged with Brettanomyces in Missouri oak.
Originally brewed at Boulevard and released exclusively on draft at SAVOR Fest 2012. Batch 2 was brewed at Boulevard and re-released to the general public in bottles on 6-18-13.

Quick3Beers (1234) - East Falmouth, Massachusetts, USA - AUG 20, 2015
Pours a deep dark brown with a crazy thick head, not even a vigorous pour and chilled more than it should have been! Everything is complex, aroma has peppery spiciness and pecan pie wrapped in a bready envelope. Flavor is similar, piling on layers of vanilla leather caramel and cola (perhaps an effect of the carbonation), just a bit of funk. Semi-dry and almost salty. Good beer.

Bottle to tulip Yeast, bread, earth, malt, and citrus. Dark brown with a 2 cm, frothy, light tan head. Very malty, light coffee, vanilla, yeast, and some bitterness.
