Boulevard Single-Wide I.P.A. is our take on a style that originated in 18th century Great Britain. This American version—inspired by our Smokestack Series Double-Wide I.P.A.—boasts a heady combination of six varieties of hops, some of which were employed for dry-hopping.

Aroma: intensely sweet and citrusy; Appearance: hazy orange pour with fluffy white head that lingers; Taste: follows nose - lots of sweetness and little bitterness; Palate: medium body that slowly develops into somewhat hoppy finish; Overall: fairly one dimensional but decent.

ozzy70 (1211) - Omaha, Nebraska, USA - MAR 15, 2017

Heidbummer (732) - SCOTLAND - MAR 8, 2017
Bottle from M+S. Pours amber, foamy off white head. Aroma is more malt than citrus and hops, they’re subtle. Lovely soft mouthfeel with decent balance of caramel, bitterness in the back, some sweetish citrus (marmalade). Nice.

MelvinKalksma (1628) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 6, 2017

Medium aroma of malts, caramel, orange, hops and citrus.

Turbid/opaque amber/orange beer with heavy yeast and with a medium/large off-white/beige head.

Starts medium sweet with malts, caramel and orange; ends slightly bitter and dry with hops and citrus.

This beer is rather intense, complex and balanced. Soft orange and citrus IPA with a great appearance and palate. Nothing else to say really, just a refreshing tasting beer.

Bottle. Golden-Brown in colour. Yeasty; floaties. Very Hoppy; piney, resinous, oily hops. Fruity; grapefruit-citrus & lemon. Malty backbone; toasty malts, toffee; but malts could be stronger. Citrus hops over sweet malts. Dry in the finish. Full-flavoured but not extreme. Liked this a lot. Very nice IPA! (2009-08)
