(Bottle, 0.355 l - Best by 12/29/12 - the sticker glued on the top of this date claimed the BBE date to be 12/31/2013, from Alko Arkadia, 20121214) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had fruitiness, malts and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, malts, sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was fruity and bitter. The closeness of the BBE date clearly shows but still this beer was quite nice.

Bottle 355 ml, BBE 31.12.2013. Pours cloudy pale golden in color with a massive creamy off-white head. Quity malty in aroma at first, some more subtle hints of grapefruit, citrus and then again more of a bready-like ending. Citrus in taste along with some sweetness. Slightly bitter as well. Some lemon and malty sweetness in aftertaste with a mid-bitter finish.

Two fingers of head. Clear, hazy dark straw colored body. Smell is a strong pine without anything else in the mix. Taste is a solid bitterness with a dry bite. Slight lemon and sweetness. Soft texture, moderate carbonation and a medium body. Solid IPA that you cant go wrong with.

Aroma: Smelling of brown bread, grape-fruit juice and zest, pine and grass. A bit soapy.
Appearance: A hazy deep golden straw colored beer. An off-white head with some lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting sweet toffee, grape-fruit squash, some resin and bitter orange peel.
Palate: Medium low carbonation, a coarse texture. A medium body with a very dry finish.
Overall: Vey dry, very hoppy, an extreme west coast AIPA.

35,5cl bottle from Vinmonopolet, Vika. Pours slightly hazy golden to orange with a white head. Fruity and hoppy aroma with tropical fruits, pine, pineapple, malt and hints of herbs. Medium sweet and quite fruity, medium body too. Pleasant bitterness in the finish. Lightly bitter aftertaste with citrus and tropical fruits. Nice and easy drinkable IPA. Very refreshing!

Good standard IPA. Piney, floral hops aroma dominates all others. Cloudy golden color that shows the particulates if you look close enough. Carbonated and dry feel on the palate. Strong hops bitterness that lingers. Not overly complex but hits the spot if you are in need of an IPA.

larsga (7470) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 24, 2012
Big offwhite head. Yellow body made hazy by lots of little particles. Resiny mango aroma with citric notes. Dry resiny citric mango taste with grainy pea notes. Mid-bodied. Sharpish mouthfeel, and it seems I can feel the particles. Dry resiny herbal pineapple aftertaste with menthol notes. Not bad, but suffering from a number of drawbacks. Might be old. (0.355l bottle, wine monopoly, web order.)

Sigmund (7230) - Tau, NORWAY - NOV 22, 2012
Shared 355 ml bottle, from the Norwegian importer. No ABV mentioned on the label. Hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Pleasant aroma of American hops, notes of spruce, citrus and tropical fruits. The flavour is distinctly hoppy throughout, with the same elements as the aroma, but is never too bitter. Just enough malts to make the beer feel tolerably balanced. Very likeable.

Shared bottle at Sigmunds place. Pours light hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma of new cut grass, mint and pine. Taste is smooth, a lot less hops than promised by the aroma, but still a decent beer, herbal hops, crisp and fresh, lingering dry and bitter, nice one.
