Boulevard Single-Wide I.P.A. is our take on a style that originated in 18th century Great Britain. This American version—inspired by our Smokestack Series Double-Wide I.P.A.—boasts a heady combination of six varieties of hops, some of which were employed for dry-hopping.

triplehopped (65) - - JAN 4, 2013
Pours rich, yet hazy, gold with large white head leaving spotty lacing. Strong citrus and floral aromas. Medium sweetness with medium but pleasing bitterness. Light boddied with an average carbonation, finishes with a lingering bitterness. Overall, pleasing to all senses; the sweet, citrus flavors complement the bitter hops to create a satisfying drinking experience.

Sledutah (7524) - Utah, USA - JAN 3, 2013
12oz bottle picked up at Total Wine
Appearance: Pours clear golden with a big foamy white head and lots of sticky lacing
Aroma: Floral, caramel, citrus and sweet candy
Taste: Grapefruit, caramel, dusty, citrus and bitter pine
This is nice, I’d like to have another. Easy drinking.

bubbleflubber (2227) - Swannanoa, North Carolina, USA - JAN 1, 2013
Orange-copper pour with a very large, 4-finger head that leaves spotty lacing. The nose is citrusy, possibly candied. Flavors are similar, nice citric tart that integrates well with the malt accents. The finish is lightly bittered to cleanly close the pull, lingering appropriately, yet non-intrusive. The palate is active, clean, substantively smooth, almost juice-like. A nice, easy drinking IPA that really accents the citrus component.

Hazy gold, a lot of yeast residue. Rocky head. Pine, fruit, pleasant dryness. A splendid beer, but the competition in this field is fierce.

craig220 (313) - Crofton, Maryland, USA - DEC 31, 2012
Poured a clear copper color with a HUGE white head (out of all six of these not matter how I poured, the head was just massive). Aroma is pine, grapefruit, caramel, floral and grass. Taste is grapefruit, pine, lemon, a bit of sweetness and then a long bitter finish. Feels light to medium bodied with lively carbonation.

It?s a good IPA. I don?t really know what else to say about it. I like good beers, I love IPAs, it has a great hoppy smell (most of which comes through in the taste). It?s very good, but nothing differentiates it much from any other.

streve (105) - Maryland, USA - DEC 24, 2012
12oz bottle. Pour was a light golden orange color. Lots of carbonation action and a big old frothy head. Aroma is floral and fruity. Mouth follows suit of aroma with a moderate bite and crispiness up front. Medium bodied. Very nice.

355 ml bottle. BB 12/29/12 (covered with a sticker from the imported with BB 31/12/13.).
(Alko) Helsinki, Finland.

Lively cloudy golden colour with average sized foamy white head. Very nice fruity American hoppy aroma with some bitterness and malty balance. Flavour is a bit more simple with soapy and fruity hops, moderate bitterness, mild maltiness and some mild sweetness. Not very balanced. Slightly watery.

Hermod (7879) - Vantaa, FINLAND - DEC 17, 2012
355ml bottle from Alko Arkadia. Hazy amber, thick white head. Lots of citrusy fruityiness in aroma, some herbal/floral notes as well. Flavor is citrus, hops, malt as well as floral notes, as was in the aroma. Bitter and dry, fruity finish. Light bodied, very easy and refreshing. Nicely balanced, enjoyable beer.

Bottle. Golden light orange color, looks murky. Hop/yeast debris? Very hoppy aroma, I’m thinking watermelon, strawberry jam, a hint of pines. The flavor is in the same neighborhood, with some caramel malt notes. Nice body, good carbonation. Rather bitter. Nice IPA.
