jb (3532) - Rochester, New York, USA - APR 14, 2018Not really a quad, but an interesting experiment. The bourbon mostly hides any complexity yeasty or otherwise that goes on in any belgian style. Very drinkable, nice job hiding the booze though a bit hot in the finish. Nice lacing, surprising, with a hazy murky brown. Nose has some of the ester profile I'd hope for. brown sugar, dark fruit, butterscotch.
Hopper8 (304) - Holland, Michigan, USA - APR 9, 2018Compared to what Quad's normally are I was a little disappointed with this complexity. That being said, I did like the quad as an avenue for bourbon syrupyness.
DCLawyer (2972) - Falls Church, Virginia, USA - APR 7, 2018Bottle->snifter. Deep chestnut with small loose ecru head. Dark fruit, candied sugar, yeast, booze, caramel, toffee. Ok, nothing great.
dandeman (1151) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - APR 4, 2018Delicious, but far away from a Quad style. More like a strong Scotch Ale. Toffee is overdominant.
