Reminds me a lot of tank 7 without the fruity after taste. This smokestack beer has very smooth taste that makes you want to take another drink. eriuperry (4) - - MAR 5, 2011 does not count
As a fan of both wheat beers and barleywines, Harvest Dance drank like the beer of my fantasies. It was satisfying on levels I didn’t know existed. BOSSbrewer (2705) - Arkansas, USA - SEP 5, 2013
This is a huge beer. The wheat really comes through. Slightly alcoholic. Had a bottle other Brent. tennisjoel (1463) - Rochester, Minnesota, USA - MAR 2, 2010
UPDATED: MAY 20, 2011 Rerate: I don’t normally rerate that many beers, but this one deserves it. I am kind of blown away by this beer. Perfectly balanced fruit, hops, oak, and malt, this is one of a kind. Really lucky to have regualr access. Phenomenal beer!

Orange body with an absurd large bubbled white head. Particalia quite apparent as well. Once the dense head settles down, there is quite a refreshing aroma, with similarities to a dry belgian ale. Quite yeasty, with some tart lemon and apricot scents, as well as caramel malts beneath. Flavor is warming, not as rough as many in this style. Quite drinkable.
Good, albeit slightly undercarbonated.
Original rating: 3.7
Dear ratebeer, I want to tell you why I love Boulevard. This one gives you a clue...
Soft wheat brings the whole thing together. A gorgeous deep gold color with a big white head. Nose gives a little citrus. A little spice - like a tropical drink, but finishes well with nice oak.
Love and kisses,
-a huge fan of anything in the Smokestack series.

UPDATED: NOV 26, 2009 I have had this beer several times and in various incarnations, but this is my initial rating. I have noticed the current bottle run is more highly carbonated than the test batches and although this took me off guard with the first pour, it makes the beer very light and lively. This is a 9.1% beer that drinks a lot lighter. I love the subtlety of the beer, it comes across as very elegant. The aroma is light, mildly citrusy and bursting with a subtle, but evident fruitiness. The faint wood, spiciness & fruitiness of the yeast and the clean wheat all combine for an amazing taste that is quite complex. As the beer warms, the alcohol is evident, but not overwhelming. At colder temperatures, this is a beer that I think would appeal to most beer drinkers. I have finally found a wheat wine that I truly enjoy and I imagine that I have found a new favorite in the regular Smokestack lineup. I’m not sure that time will improve this beer, it will certainly change it and I’m sure it will taste very good, but this is a beer that is being released with each component of the beer beautifully balanced. Well done Boulevard! royalliquors (12) - Kansas City, Missouri, USA - DEC 1, 2009
This pours a large off-white that relaxes into a frothly blanket. Good lacing and effervescence with an amber color leaning towards orange. Bread, flowers, pine, leaves and herbs on the nose. The bread and flowers follow through to the taste and are met with citrus and slight butter. Beautiful, beautiful beer. It has strong competition with the BBQ and Imperial Stout, but this may be the best beer Blvd. has ever made. Diablokev (181) - Lakewood, Colorado, USA - FEB 5, 2011
Wow I really like this one. The aroma is of sage or "mary jane". The appearance is a bronze haze. The taste is of oranges and pumpkin, the beer is smooth and is easy to drink. Over all one of the best. onceblind (9856) - Denver, Colorado, USA - JAN 17, 2012
On tap at Freshcraft. Clear copper with a small but persistent foamy head. Smell is intriguing and intense. I’m getting bubblegum, yeasty funky esters, plum and raisin, and some dark cherry and mango. Smooth rich fruity and wheaty flavor. Nice and big fruity like a barleywine, but with the subtlety of palate like a wheat. Taste starts with wheat and bready tones, but you quickly get lots of fruit and citrus and dark cherry and sweet plums. Smooth and big and subtle yet powerful. This is outstanding. brison (44) - atlanta, Georgia, USA - SEP 6, 2013
Completely cloudy with a sunburst orange color. Lots of understated fruit on the taste followed by some pepper. Mouth feel is full and fluffy. Overall is one of my favorite wheatwines.
