COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This re-release of our 2011 Collaborations Series No. 2 White IPA brings back the unique marriage of a classic Belgian wittier to an American IPA. We enjoyed the experience so much the first time around that we happily pressed Control+C (Command+C for Mac), and Reboot was born. Version 2.0 has upgraded its spicy aroma, with hints of bubblegum and clove. Bold flavors will launch upon uncorking, as sage and lemongrass balance the tangy, zesty wheat malt profile. Rather than merely blending a wittier with an IPA, Reboot harmonizes distinctly fruity Belgian yeast overtones with big, fruity American hop notes by creating an herbal bridge between these two somewhat contradictory flavors. The beer’s complexity os supported by a spritzy effervescence, finishing dry, with lingering hop notes.

Pours a light golden yellow with fizzy head that dissipates quickly. Citrusy, wheaty smell. Flavor has a lot of lemon-citrus as well as some wheat esters. The sage is quite noticeable as well. Very bubbly, well-carbonated (perhaps too much so?). This is interesting, but not really my thing.

Cybercat (5841) - Georgia, USA - JAN 1, 2014
Comes out of the bottle a hazy solar yellow with a good ivory head. Aroma is more yeasty than hoppy, more like a Belgian, with a strong fruity note. Flavor has a hoppy core that supports fruity, yeasty, butterscotch, coriander and sweet malt notes. Texture is smooth and viscous with a subtle but persistent tingle. Have one - reboot - call a taxi.

Shared bottle at tasting... Nice golden color. Tiny Belgian bubbles. Good and hoppy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

750ml bottle pours a golden color with not much head. Fruity belgian yeast aroma. Flavor of belgian yeast and well balanced hops and sweetness. Marmalade after taste.

Pours a hazy deep straw color with a large creamy white head. Notes of coriander, lemon curd, tree sap. Foamy mouthfeel.

harrymel (1551) - Spokane, Washington, USA - DEC 20, 2013
Collaboration No.2 On tap at hills alongside deschutes version. Pours a golden raisin ale with a little head and some spot lace. Near good clarity. Smells more like a wit than the deschutes version and has tones of yeast and coriander. Some banana smell. Taste is bitter without much other hop character. More like a bitter witbier than a new style. Mouthfeel is about right with a semi dry finish. Overall, not getting much ipa per se, but bitter wit. Serving type: on-tap 09-01-2011

Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - DEC 16, 2013
Serving: 750 ml bottle from State Line Liquors. It pours a hazy deep gold with a rocky, well sustained white head. Belgian yeast esters dominate the nose. Heavy yeast influence continues in the flavor. Lots of bubblegum. There is a light hint of citrus and hop bitterness, but it could use much more for balance. A bit out of kilter in my opinion.

rmussman (1701) - California, USA - DEC 11, 2013
A nice big bodied ipa. Crisp and refreshing. The palate is smooth and the hop levels are strong but not overpowering.

hopwine (670) - brooklynzzzzz, New York, USA - DEC 10, 2013
Cloudy witbier-ish appearance, with nice head and lace. Spritzy, effervescent carbo. Flavor is dominated by sage and citrus which melds really nicely with the wheat heavy malt bill. Super refreshing and complex. If white IPAs are here to stay, this is the beer to emulate.

thome50 (1295) - Morro Bay via Orange County, California, USA - DEC 8, 2013
Bottle via Bret. Pours a clear golden with big white belgian esque head. Aroma is banana, clove and overpowering bubblegum. Taste is slghtly hopped at the front but then quickly dies and leaves you with Bazooka joe bubblegum. The bubblegum lasts for about 3 seconds and then goes away, like the flavor in that gum. I get very little IPA from this.
