Very hazy amber beer. Big white head. Light palate, starts fluffy but turns crisp and dry. Seltzer mineral backdrop, vaguely bretty. Vibrant sherbetty fruits - an equal balance of orange, lemon, grapefruit, mango and peach. Dry minerally finish with bitterness kicking in. Lovely!
Bottle. Cloudy yellow orange color, large fluffy white head, solid lacing. Aroma of orange peel, coriander. Taste is spiced citrus and raw white bread dough. mcberko (19868) - Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA - AUG 15, 2011
750mL bottle, pours a cloudy blonde with a small head. Aroma is much lighter than the Deschutes version - light coriander, orange peel and light hops. Flavour is quite spicy, with light coriander and orange peel - spicy hops blended in but not individually recognizable. Doesn’t seem like an IPA at all. Decent. brokensail (16689) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 6, 2011
A: The beer pours a pale golden with a big white head on it.
S: The nose has a rather interesting blend of spices and hops. Some fruity pineapple and grapefruit hop notes along with a touch of grass. The traditional coriander and citrus peel are there along with a light bread and wheat aroma.
T: Lots of pineapple and grapefruit on the flavor. There is a somewhat light bread/wheat character with a mild hop bitterness. Light grass and citrus peel on the finish.
M: The body is medium with medium to high carbonation.
O: I really liked this one, lots of nice flavors and great execution of a concept I wasn’t too crazy about. djd07 (16304) - Houston, Texas, USA - AUG 24, 2012
Bottle. Pours a cloudy gold with a large creamy white head leaving good sticky lacing along the glass. The aroma is yeast floral hops and orange peel. Thin mouthfeel with a strong lemongrass and light fruit with bitter finish. Hides alcohol well, a good IPA from Boulevard.

750 c&c from Wine & Cheese in Clayton, MO. Batch 2011-2. Pours hazy, dirty light gold with a creamy/foamy 4 finger white head. It does a bit of ring lacing. Aromas of citrus, spice and a light resin. Full bodied. Flavors of orange zest/spice/herb-veg and resinous hop. This suddenly develops grassy/noble hop aspects. The zest smooths out. The spice moderates. It seems to become mostly hop. Gets a fruity sweetness, then back to hop and bitter. Seems complex to me. Excellent stuff. Ratman197 (15624) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - AUG 10, 2011
750 ml corked and caged bottle poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas of wheat, sage, lemon, coriander, earthiness and light grassinewss. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of wheat, lemon, sage, coriander and grassiness with a crisp dry bitter lingering spiced finish. More of a Hoppy Witbeer than an IPA in my opinion. DSG (15432) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - JAN 20, 2012
Bottle sample at a tasting at Dancing Camel. Thanks beerandbeyond. Nice hazy golden color with a white head. Hoppy and spicy aroma with flowers, citrus and some coriander. Sweetish fruity and spicy flavor with coriander and a bitter hoppy finish with flowers and grapefruits. Medium-bodied. Pleasant and quaffable. Tmoney99 (15126) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 27, 2013
Bottle shared by Dr Silverworm. Poured hazy golden color with an average frothy white head that lasted with good to excellent lacing. Moderate to heavy yeasty citrus aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy sweet yeast flavor with a moderate to heavy sweet finish of medium to long duration. Very good brew.
