COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment thats just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard its fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Pale straw color which was lighter than expected. A bit of barnyard funk on the nose. Good bitterness with a bit of a bite on the back end.

from Au Grain dOrge - quite clear golden-blond beer under a creamy white foam; nice lace; fruity aroma of rhubarb and cheese, full-bodied, clean palate, tasty and sweet, light herbal and mostly fruity; gently sourish finish - too sweet

Strong pour into a chalice revealing a cloudy yellow gold brew with a head which overflows from the glass. Aroma of bready yeast, banana, bubblegum, clove, and apricot. Great medium body with effervesence. Taste is malty and fruity sweet with a sharp bitter finish. Pretty damn nice!

Pours a hazy light golden color with a frothy white head that lasts and leaves good lacing. Aroma has belgian yeast, banana, apricot, and spices. Taste is initially sweet and fruity before the earthy malts and yeast kick in. Finish is long and bitter, with citrus hops. Body is medium with average carbonation and a crisp mouthfeel. This one is easily drinkable despite the ABV and a lot going on. Well-balanced.

Draft taproom. Golden with a beige head. Light citrus aroma. Flavor is quite tasty: citrus, lightly sweet, somewhat sour. Hint of hay and vanilla. Light liquor finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Large bottle @HES. Fresh, light, a bit on the sour side for my taste, but still a nice and mild, somewhat "Belgian" brew.
