COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

19Oracolo78 (190) - ITALY - MAY 12, 2017
UPDATED: MAY 13, 2017 Birra colore giallo/dorato. Schiuma bianca, fine e persistente. Ottima.

Draft at harper & rye. Decent Saison. Barnyard, clove, lemon, and earthy spiced. Bit of banana, but too sweet and not farmhousey enough for me.

Bottle at home. This is surprisingly more of a traditional saison than I was expecting. The yeast character is uber-trad, with pepper and hay aromas and a ton of carbonation. The Brett kick is subtle but really nice, bringing some earthiness that rounds everything out. Quite good.

Fat bishops Örebro. Disig orange vätska. Doft av örter, halm och lite bananskum. Frisk och örtig smak. Hö och viss pepprighet.

Pale straw color which was lighter than expected. A bit of barnyard funk on the nose. Good bitterness with a bit of a bite on the back end.

12-ounce bottle pours slightly cloudy yellow-gold with creamy white head. Lots of visible carbonation. Aroma: banana, yeasty bread, clove, lemon. Flavor: all of the above, plus white pepper. Medium-bodied.

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - APR 14, 2017
from Au Grain d’Orge - quite clear golden-blond beer under a creamy white foam; nice lace; fruity aroma of rhubarb and cheese, full-bodied, clean palate, tasty and sweet, light herbal and mostly fruity; gently sourish finish - too sweet

Jimbo2 (446) - DENMARK - APR 14, 2017
Solid hoppy, belgianesque Saison. Earthy, spiced, somewhat hoppy with decent bitterness. Floral aromas. Medium body and carbonation.

Pintofjoe29 (42) - Dingman Ferry, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 13, 2017
UPDATED: MAY 27, 2017 Strong pour into a chalice revealing a cloudy yellow gold brew with a head which overflows from the glass. Aroma of bready yeast, banana, bubblegum, clove, and apricot. Medium body with effervesence. Taste is malty and fruity sweet with a sharp bitter finish. Pretty damn nice!
