COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment thatís just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard itís fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Strongly citrus, and that's precisely what I don't like. Has substantially hoppy like an IPA. I'm not understanding this beer; it's just not my thing.

5 finger white head that sank to 1 cm, yellow body. Nose: Hay, grass, melon, toffee and white pepper. Aroma: Peppery notes, white pepper, hay, grass, melon, clementine, starfruit, kiwi, toffee, caramel, some alcohol-burn and a hint of resin. Semi-long ending with some bitterness.

A: A gentle pour produces a massive dense, white foamy head. Retention is Guinness book quality, 15 minutes plus to diminish! As the head recedes, the entire glass is heavily laced with huge chunks of the head. The beer is golden in color, and just hazy enough to cloud the view on the backside of the glass. Carbonation is massively active. S: The aroma is a nice mixture of sweet malt, Belgian yeast, and tropical fruits with hints of bubblegum. The fruitiness evokes pineapple, papaya, and lemons or star fruit. Slightest hints of spiciness and wet straw. The aroma is intense, distinct, and complex. T: The taste is not quite exactly what the aroma presents, but is world class! The Belgian yeast, with bubble gum, and the sweet, bready malt base is pronounced up front. The fruit is less significant in the taste, but the spice is increased...opposite of what the aroma presented. The finish is very earthy, wet straw and a nicely balanced bitter, dry finish. The aftertaste is clean and crisp. M: The body is not light, but not weighty. Can't be described in the expected terms, it is transcendent. The carbonation that appeared active, is well balanced on the palate, and almost creamy. O: This beer is a continual favorite. It is sweet, fresh, and inviting. It is lush, but gentle. It is a complete sensory experience, it smells as good as looks, and tastes better. This is easily one of the top 3 beers I've ever quaffed. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The fruity flavors donít overpower my favorite trait of subtle bitterness. My wife hates beer but requests that I buy this for her. Normally I would assume that means that itís overly sweet but not in the least

Pours a hazy golden with lots of carbonation and head. Bready, citrus, and slight funky yeast smells. Fruity citrus flavors such as tangerine. Spicy belgian yeast notes as well. Carbonation is abundant and refreshing. Great beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Drank this bottle beer at mavericks. It was kind of strong yet refreshing. I would drink this again!

This beer is refreshing and goes down smooth. After reading the description I was amazed that it was made in a broken down rusty tank. Iím really looking forward to trying the beers they made in the six tanks that are working properly. Extra points for 8.5% Minus 0.3 points for charging full price despite using a broken tank.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2014 Really super refreshing. Citrus notes come out light and flavorful on the tongue. Typical light orange straw farmhouse color. Good beer ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
