COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment thats just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard its fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Bottle. Pours gold with a white head. Funky yeasty base, with some light banana-like fruity notes, spices, and lemongrass, followed by a clean and dry finish. Really damn good.

Bottle, bought @ Systembolaget, Hyltebruk. Pours clear dark golden with a large, staying, creamy, white head. Aroma has citrus, light crisp malts, peach, apples. Medium carbonation, lovely dry and fairly light mouthfeel. Flavour has very crisp malts, apples, light vinious, a good dose of pineapple and peach. Lovely lingering bitterness. Very nice.

Bottle. Pours cloudy, yellow with lots of suspended sediment and with a big soft head that leaves great lacing. smells of clove, spice, sour fruit. Slightly bitter and pronounced sour taste and a medium body. A bit too much carbonation for me. Pretty good brew.

Draft pour into goblet at Whip-In. Sits a cloudy golden straw color with a bubbly white finger head that dissipates. Lovely soapy white lacing clings tithe glass. Nose is floral, light grain and hops. Taste is a great balance of malt and hops with a lightly spicy finish. Another tasty beer from Boulevard.

UPDATED: JUL 7, 2013 The appearance of this beer has many gorgeous components: the sunshiney golden color, the hazy quality, the medium white head, and the fine, light colored sediment. The aroma smells like hops and slightly sour fruit, and the taste is mildly bitter, mildly sweet, and slightly sour, which makes your taste buds stand at attention; furthermore, the palate combines a medium body, average carbonation, slick texture, and lingering finish.
