COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Poured out of bottle into a wide flute beer glass. Lots of bubbles on the initial pour, quickly dissipating head with just the edge of the glass graced by the lace. Bright orange color, opaque. Smell: Floral hops and citrus.. mostly grapefruit. Pleasant and mellow. Taste: No real flavors coming through, though still very nice... maybe a little orange. The bitterness coming into play at the end, which is good. Soft texture, not quite creamy though. While not a powerhouse, it is very nice to drink. For me it fits both a summer and winter drink. It’s simple taste makes it refreshing for hot days, but the softness also makes it appealing to a cold night in front of the fireplace.

Some flowers in the aroma, spices, hops and fruit esters. Golden, a little cloudy with a good white foam. In the taste of fruit, a little spice, malt and alcohol. Average body, high carbonation. Dry, a little bitter finish.

March 2016. Lively carbonation. Belgian yeast is evident. Dry and spicy. Strong notes of grapefruit. Lighter notes of Orange and hay. enjoyed it but the grapefruit notes were too overpowering for me, It has a strong bitterness in the finish, but not a hop bitterness, a grapefruit bitterness. Didn't notice the 8.5% alcohol at all. At 255 cal not worth it. Drink a quad June 2017. Gave it another try. A well respected beer, but I did not really care for it. Very odd and prominent aftertaste. Letting it warm up just made it worse ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz(?) bottle from Discount. Best by Oct 2017. Golden yellow pour, spongey white head. Aroma has big tangy fruits, somewhat yeasty, sweet malty. A bit subtle. Taste is of spicy tangy yeast, some sweet fruit, citrus, light sweet malts. Very spicy tangy. Not as pleasant a blend as hoped. Almost medium bodied, with some alcohol. Finishes tangy fruity spicy. Shrug? Not what hoped. 13.2

Bottle- Pours a hazy, golden yellow color with a foamy beige head. The aroma is yeasty with hints banana, citrus, and clove. The taste is fairly carbonated making for a very full texture feeling. Has a fairly dry finish with some lingering spices.

hazy gold color with a thick, white head; lots of sice notes and Belgian funk in the aroma; great, really funky flavor; lots of dank, funky Belgian yeast and peppery spice notes; pretty bitter

Tap at Four Points by Sheraton - Kansas City: Clear gold color with a small white fizzy head. Belgian yeast with a great refreshing hoppy yeast taste. Dry finish.

Aroma is fresh and full of fruity esters, resembling a belgian ale. Spices like pepper and coriander, yeast, grassy hops, light herbs. Crisp, refreshing for it's ABV, and well made.

Aroma on the tip is heaven. Smooth on the palate with fruity sensation followed by a sensational hoppy finish
