COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Draft pour into goblet at Whip-In. Sits a cloudy golden straw color with a bubbly white finger head that dissipates. Lovely soapy white lacing clings tithe glass. Nose is floral, light grain and hops. Taste is a great balance of malt and hops with a lightly spicy finish. Another tasty beer from Boulevard.

Sample from draft at Johnny's in Castricum (with Jan and Wilma). Light yelow color, white head, a very nice taste. I didn't expect this high abv in this beer.

12floz bottle, BBD: 04.28.2018, $2.50 single, large snifter glass. A huge head forms on the pour reaching the rim of the glass. Then settles rather quickly to one-finger of frothiness atop a rich golden body. Yeast is the main driver, providing an aroma of floral plastic. Body is medium-full with a balanced presence of rose honey, basic cereal grains, and muted herb spice flavors. This is something I can find readily, yet often overlook for something new or different. Yet, it is very good Belgian style beer.

Golden color, white head and some retention. Aroma is light yeasty with notes of floral hops. Flavor is yeasty, some citrusy, light bittery. Dry and flowery final.

Some flowers in the aroma, spices, hops and fruit esters. Golden, a little cloudy with a good white foam. In the taste of fruit, a little spice, malt and alcohol. Average body, high carbonation. Dry, a little bitter finish.

March 2016. Lively carbonation. Belgian yeast is evident. Dry and spicy. Strong notes of grapefruit. Lighter notes of Orange and hay. enjoyed it but the grapefruit notes were too overpowering for me, It has a strong bitterness in the finish, but not a hop bitterness, a grapefruit bitterness. Didn't notice the 8.5% alcohol at all. At 255 cal not worth it. Drink a quad June 2017. Gave it another try. A well respected beer, but I did not really care for it. Very odd and prominent aftertaste. Letting it warm up just made it worse ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12oz(?) bottle from Discount. Best by Oct 2017. Golden yellow pour, spongey white head. Aroma has big tangy fruits, somewhat yeasty, sweet malty. A bit subtle. Taste is of spicy tangy yeast, some sweet fruit, citrus, light sweet malts. Very spicy tangy. Not as pleasant a blend as hoped. Almost medium bodied, with some alcohol. Finishes tangy fruity spicy. Shrug? Not what hoped. 13.2

Bottle- Pours a hazy, golden yellow color with a foamy beige head. The aroma is yeasty with hints banana, citrus, and clove. The taste is fairly carbonated making for a very full texture feeling. Has a fairly dry finish with some lingering spices.
