COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Most breweries have at least one piece of equipment that’s just a bit persnickity. Here at Boulevard it’s fermenter number seven, the black sheep of our cellar family. Ironically, when our brewers were developing variations on a traditional Belgian-style farmhouse ale, the perfect combination of elements came together in that very vessel. You could call it fate, but they called it Tank 7, and so it is. Beginning with a flavorful surge of fruity aromatics and hoppy, grapefruit notes (Amarillo hops), this complex, straw-colored ale finishes long, dry and spicy.

Bottle from Vinmonopolet. Pours hazy weak golden with a huge fluffy white head. Aroma of citrus, pine and mint, inviting. Taste is fresh bitter hops, light fruity, refreshing and tasty, soft palate. Light dry lingering finish.

.355l bottle poured a hazy golden beer with medium soapy white head (didn’t last long) fresh citrus aroma, can smell barley malt aswell. Taste: barley and wheat malt, saison yeast higher alcohol taste than you would expect. Mouth feel is rather thick and sticky. Also strong carbonation, which is negative for me. Overall good beer, would drink again.

12oz bottle. Hazy yellow-orange, full, long lasting fluffy white head. Yeasty, funky, spicy nose. Light citrus flavors meshed with hay, toast, earth, grass. A little warm on the finish.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma of yeast and spices. Little peppery. Lots of wheat and some sweet fruits. It pours a slightly hazy bright golden body with a big frothy head. The taste is a little sour, funky and slightly sweet towards the end. Great bitterness. High, prickly carbonation and medium mouthfeel. Decent beer. But I think this one has gotten a little too sour from aging.

oobawa (1317) - Tennessee, USA - MAY 15, 2017
A bit sweet for a Saison, grassy and bright but with a heavy caramel-clove undercurrent that feels too prominent for the style. Banana and grapefruit pop up in the middle, and the finish brings out a dry bready yeastiness, but still comes across too thick and boozy for a great farmhouse ale. Still finished the pint rather quickly, though.

Une saison belge venue des Etats-Unis par une brasserie d’un groupe belge! Elle est bonne, bien fruitée.

Slightly hazy yellow orange pour with white compact-bubbled head. Smells of strong lively citrus aroma with mild lemon zest, coriander, lime, spice. Taste follows the nose with a more pronounced floral component at cooler temperatures - beautiful. Mild bitterness up front that dissipates. Taste is spice-forward and the hop component does play a bigger role as the beer warms. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
