4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
The beer was picked as a part of the 4 bottle sampler pack with sweet tulip glass packed in, which I used for this review. The beer looked very hazy in the glass, with a three finger thick head, and a golden body. The smell deviated from the Saison mold quite a bit due to the use of grapefruit like American hops. There was some bubblegum in the nose, which I suspect was the yeast. The taste was expertly balanced between bold and delicate flavors,. There was a noticeable use of citric hops, and a peppery spiciness. But there was also a floral character, and some orange peel, and banana notes. The mouthfeel was airy, and light, with a creamy carbonation. This was one of the best American interpretation of a Saison,, I’ve had in a while.
Bottle. Pours clear yellow with small white sticky head. Aroma : yeasty, hay, citrus, dust. Taste : sweetish, caramel, candy, rotten sourish hay, yeasty. Light body. Sweet finish. Jabic (583) - Plainfield, Vermont, USA - JUL 18, 2017
Ar: Peach, lemon pith, and pineapple; white pepper and clove; a touch of rosy alcohol. Ap: Golden and slightly hazy; large white head with very good retention, leaving a folding, airy cap of delicate suds and curtains of bubbles along the glass sides. T: Black pepper, clove, and banana up front; juicy, overripe peach and some clean alcohol warmth; slightest touch of sweetness, with a honey and floral flavor; bitterness is medium and lean, peppery in character; some notes of pine and citrusy hops; hay and flowers with a clean pils malt sweetness. P: Medium-light body with high carbonation; finish is dry. O: A fine saison; all the hallmark saison flavors (citrus, tropical fruit, spice, hay, and clean malt) with a nice hop accent and a touch of alcohol warmth for complexity. Exxpensive in the supermarket. Taste is very good. Heavy beer, not fast drinking. Fresh flowery hops and little sweetness is tasted, nicely in balance.

Bullit (4633) - Burgos, SPAIN - JUL 15, 2017
Bottle from Gall en Gall Tiel. Hazy golden coloured with a sparkling white head. Nose is yeasty, bit of caramel, some esters. Flavour yeasty, fruity, estery. So-so.

.355l bottle poured a hazy golden beer with medium soapy white head (didn’t last long) fresh citrus aroma, can smell barley malt aswell. Taste: barley and wheat malt, saison yeast higher alcohol taste than you would expect. Mouth feel is rather thick and sticky. Also strong carbonation, which is negative for me. Overall good beer, would drink again. Bacchus66 (339) - South Carolina, USA - JUN 15, 2017
12oz bottle. Hazy yellow-orange, full, long lasting fluffy white head. Yeasty, funky, spicy nose. Light citrus flavors meshed with hay, toast, earth, grass. A little warm on the finish. arnaultp (30) - FRANCE - JUN 8, 2017

Aroma of yeast and spices. Little peppery. Lots of wheat and some sweet fruits.
It pours a slightly hazy bright golden body with a big frothy head.
The taste is a little sour, funky and slightly sweet towards the end. Great bitterness.
High, prickly carbonation and medium mouthfeel.
Decent beer. But I think this one has gotten a little too sour from aging.
