3.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Poured from a bottle into a small goblet. Amazing red cherry color with an inch of head. Very beautiful. Best looking beer I have ever seen.
The smell did not match the appearance. I was outside and it was breezy so that may have made it more difficult to catch a good smell of it. Mostly I smelled alcohol...
Incredible taste. Sweet, cherry and caramel. Unfortunately the alcohol taste came through too. This is really tasting like a Belgium ale. The sweetness is tamed by the tart cherry.
Medium to full body. Light carbonation, fits the style well.
Very well done ale. This is a perfect bottle to share at 10.5% ABV and coming in a 750mL bottle. Get some friends over to enjoy it with.
Mild plum and prune nose. Cloudy rust, thick tan head, decent lace. Maraschino cherries, plum, new plastic. Full body, soft carbonation, alcohol well-masked. Tasty, a little lacking in compexity for the style, but quite nice. ALIBALI (2070) - Kiel, GERMANY - JUN 23, 2017

750 ml bottle from Canada Craft Club. Pours a hazed orange/amber colour with good-sized, creamy eggshell-coloured head. Aroma is sweet with lots of fruitiness, bread, wood, leather and spicy rye. Flavour has sweet plum, raisin, strawberry, brown sugar, bread, wood, peppery rye and clove. Definite alcohol presence. Big body. Impressive. crispaire (237) - - JUN 10, 2017
Pours a deep, dark amber color. Aromas of mildly spiced fruitcake. Full bodied with a rich malty palate. Almost chewy. Dark stone fruit finish with boozy warmth. creppyiceman (843) - POLAND - JUN 7, 2017

750ml bottle, thanks Harri. Pours caramely amber colour, medium sized beige head stays and leaves lacing. Molasses, toffee, honey, tomato juice, spices in aroma. Spices, bittersweet, malt, bitters, booze, molasses, raisins in taste. Tannin aftertaste. Medium to full bodied, below average carbo. Agressive booze. Good quad, bit too agressive, but still enjoyable. VamboladeTolly (1963) - Tartu, ESTONIA - MAY 27, 2017
Bottle. Pours dark amber with small white head. Aroma: caramel, some candy sugar, berries, sweet. Taste: sweet, dry, caramel, slightly alcoholic warmness, candy sugar, some balancing tastes also-sour-weak bitter. Nice sweet finish. Marduk (7694) - Reval, ESTONIA - MAY 27, 2017
750ml bottle (thanks Harri). Hazy chestnut color. Medium size, beige head, stays. Sweet, yeasty, caramel, nutty, honey in aroma. Sweet, honey, caramel, dusty, kama, alcohol in taste. Sweet, kama, yeasty in taste. Alcohol is there, but not disturbing. Quite drinkable. BeerRenter76 (1013) - Texas, USA - MAY 9, 2017
Originally rated on 1/6/09. A deep murky amber body with small yeast floaters were tossed about by the plentiful carbonation, the massive head left decent lace. Aromas of apple, plum, bready yeasts, earth and some spices. Flavor had all of those attributes with a slight alcohol burn in the finish, that warms up the belly. Overall it was a fairly good beer, thats worth a try. DSG (14764) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 20, 2017
Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas & Max. Hazy amber. Malt, caramel, banana, plum, toffeee, sweet, kinda boozy. Decent.
