12oz Bottle. The pour was a murky medium brown with a light orange hue and an average (1-2 finger) off white creamy head that was mostly diminishing, down to a thin puddled film and medium collar with fair runny lacing.
The aroma was of a sweet dark bread malt and an earthy doughy yeast with notes of caramel, candi sugar and dark fruit (raisons, figs and plums).
The taste was a smooth malty sweet with a hint of caramel from the beginning, and then become quite a bit yeasty with a strong dark fruit presence and a light alcohol ending. The flavor was short in duration following the swallow, with a lightly sweet fruitiness resting on the taste buds along with a mild alcohol warming sensation.
Mouthfeel was medium in body with a dry and slightly oily texture and a nice lively carbonation.
Overall this is one of the most balanced and tasty Strong Ales I have had in quite a while. So much so that there is hardly any indication of the high ABV this brew possesses. Props to this brewer for another superb beer... www.facebook.com/KAJIIsBeerReviews

750 ml bottle from Canada Craft Club. Pours a hazed orange/amber colour with good-sized, creamy eggshell-coloured head. Aroma is sweet with lots of fruitiness, bread, wood, leather and spicy rye. Flavour has sweet plum, raisin, strawberry, brown sugar, bread, wood, peppery rye and clove. Definite alcohol presence. Big body. Impressive. crispaire (232) - - JUN 10, 2017

Spices, bittersweet, malt, bitters, booze, molasses, raisins in taste. Tannin aftertaste. Medium to full bodied, below average carbo. Agressive booze. Good quad, bit too agressive, but still enjoyable.

750ml bottle (thanks Harri). Hazy chestnut color. Medium size, beige head, stays. Sweet, yeasty, caramel, nutty, honey in aroma. Sweet, honey, caramel, dusty, kama, alcohol in taste. Sweet, kama, yeasty in taste. Alcohol is there, but not disturbing. Quite drinkable. BeerRenter76 (1004) - Texas, USA - MAY 9, 2017
Originally rated on 1/6/09. A deep murky amber body with small yeast floaters were tossed about by the plentiful carbonation, the massive head left decent lace. Aromas of apple, plum, bready yeasts, earth and some spices. Flavor had all of those attributes with a slight alcohol burn in the finish, that warms up the belly. Overall it was a fairly good beer, thats worth a try. DSG (14685) - Tel Aviv, ISRAEL - APR 20, 2017
Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Stas & Max. Hazy amber. Malt, caramel, banana, plum, toffeee, sweet, kinda boozy. Decent. KevinReddirt (151) - Midland, Texas, USA - MAR 18, 2017
Purchased this 750 ml bottle while on a trip to Dallas. Poured into my favorite snifter it yields an attractive dark red-amber body, active carbonation and an eggshell white foam going as tall as you want. The scent gives red plum, currant and a whiff of spice. A sip gives a yeasty malt, cloves, ripe dark fruit, banana. Strong and gracious. A nice mouthfeel with the plentiful effervescence. Yowza. This is fine. I am late to the quadrupel game but I am enjoying the catch up.
