750 to challis. Black coffee with no head. Smell is coffee, chocolate and alcohol. Taste is sweet with a slight bitter with some pepper. Smooth and creamy. Fantastic finish. Top shelf.
12 oz bottle. Pours black with a light tan head. Sweet molasses/brown sugar aroma, dark fruit, hinting at bourbon, with alcohol. Flavor also strong in the molasses, with bourbon, cocoa, dark fruit. A bit simplistic, but solid. Voodoo (723) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 10, 2018
Pours a very dark brown with a medium tan head which lingers......aroma of whiskey, coffee, chocolate, touch vanilla......taste is heavy whisky, booze, chocolate, coffee, touch of vanilla, raisins, ending with bitterness and booze. tapefuzz (953) - Massachusetts, USA - FEB 4, 2018
12oz bottle. Pours dark dark brown with a moderate tan head. Aroma is sweet whiskey, vanilla, light coffee, light molasses, slight date, and traces of roast. Taste is whiskey, caramel, chocolate, vanilla, very light barrel, and a little bit of date. Boozy finish. Grain lingers - the only real weak point of the beer. Medium+ body. Soft carbonation. Sticky, creamy, thick mouthfeel. Bottle says 11.8%, not 11%. CObiased (569) - Bayfield, Colorado, USA - FEB 2, 2018
12oz bottle - pours a very dark brown with a silky tan head. Enticing aroma of roasty grain, whiskey barrel, a little chocolate, hint of coffee, molasses and vanilla. Soft velvety mouthfeel and a warming feeling going down. Really enjoyable flavors of whiskey barrel, chocolate, raisin, a hint of coffee and some booziness. aoiioushi (13) - North Carolina, USA - JAN 14, 2018

Pours like most other Imperial stouts with some nice legs on the glass after every sip. nose is huge whiskey, vanilla, wood, dark malts (burnt, slight dark roast), Huge whiskey flavors on the palate but balanced with the huge dark malt base. Lots of roast, char, anise, vanilla and wood aging going on here. This is very nice. palate is robust and bold with a nice slick feeling, coating your throat as it goes down. Solid brew if you ask me. raymow (1879) - Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 10, 2018
on tap at Crafty's in Northeast Philly - creamy brown in appearance. Sweet aroma and flavor with some caramel. jrob21 (3919) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JAN 8, 2018
Single from total wine. And damn if some do their single prices are not all jacked up. Last time I do that. Anyways. Pleasantly surprised here. Lots of vanilla and toasty esperesso. Bourbon sweetness and some raisin notes. Diverse and complex tasty. PintTeam6 (2) - - JAN 2, 2018 does not count
UPDATED: JAN 2, 2018 Sweet and malty with a strong alcohol content. It has a slight bitter finish. SolarSam (113) - Interlaken, New York, USA - JAN 1, 2018
Raisin and iron to the nose. Rich contact with the tongue, and it hangs on very well. Sweet, yes, but the grip of booze supports the cloying to the tongue. Sure there’s a barrel involved. Gotta love it. Woo Hoo!
