12 oz can served in a Tervis at the 2017 Fall ASMF.
Hazy copper colored body with a weak head that leaves minimal lacing. Coarse carbonation bubbles. Mild fruity aroma with a stronger, danker, fruity flavor. Both grapefruit and passion fruit can be detected.

Pours a tinted gold, frothy, ivory colored head with uniform lacing. Tons of fruity nectar on the nose, very sweet and tropical indeed. Stone fruit and some pepper. Full and flavorful on the tongue. More pine came through than expected but it retained the tropical zest and citrus. A pleasant breadiness. Mango in the finish and a nice bitterness. Very good. If Tropical Pale were a style, this would be it. basaywhat (306) - Macomb, Illinois, USA - SEP 30, 2017

UPDATED: SEP 23, 2017 Grapefruit dominates the other fruits, but isn't as bold as in other grapefruit or citrus ipa's gunnfryd (15175) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 12, 2017

Clear gold pour with a rocky white head. The aroma has herbal hops with mild grapefruit. It has a medium body with smooth texture and average carbonation. The taste is sort of sweet-tart with a dry finish. Beer5000 (6674) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 11, 2017
Tap @ Bakgården Både &. Slightly unclear golden body with a big off-whit head that fades quickly. Aroma has pale malt and slightly sour fruit/berries. Flavor has some slightly harsh, bitter fruitiness with lingonberry and some sweet malt. Medium body and aftertaste in the same direction. Not very balanced or refreshing at all, mostly harsh. Might be something wrong here. Lemke10 (993) - Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA - SEP 8, 2017
Can- pours a golden amber color with a foamy beige head. There is a slight aroma of grapefruit and hops. The taste is smooth, juicy with a nice blend of sweetness and bitterness. Finishes with a bitter grapefruit after taste. lb4lb (2629) - Austin, Texas, USA - SEP 8, 2017
Copper gold. Smell is hoppy fruity pine. Taste hoppy, not too bitter, clean, citrus, tasty refreshing. Drinkable. Good, could drink more of this. beer_rookie (635) - Arkansas, USA - SEP 8, 2017
Pours an ultra clear golden color. About three fingers rocky, thick, cloud like cream colored head. Good retention, light lacing.
Aroma is grapefruit and not much more. Not much in the malt department.
Taste is grapefruit and again not a lot else. It's sweet, well, at least certainly not sour or bitter like grapefruit.
Mouthfeel is light to medium. Finishes lightly of grapefruit juice. It's just kinda there.
Overall, not much to see here. Doesn't remind me of a pale ale. It tastes good, it's nice to drink, but sort of fails at the style. I would not buy it again, I'd recommend it, but I dunno, not enthusiastically. If you want to be adventurous this isn't for you. If you want to be bored, then this might be just what you need. I feel like I'm over eating this.
