UPDATED: NOV 22, 2017 Draft sample from notes. Pours a hazy golden color with orange highlights and a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have pale toasted malts, grainy malts, light tropical fruit and citrus character, some caramel sweetness, the flavors are decent enough but don’t seem to pop like I thought they would, lighter all around compared to the collaboration beer.

Gold pour, no head. Nose is citrus. Bitter. Middle is medium kilned malt, honeydew, mild grapefruit, something teopical. Finish is bitter, but has a sweet honey tang to it.

12 oz. can bb 23 Nov 2017. Clear orange-amber with a crunchy film of foam. Resin, grapefruit/orange/lemon zest, mint and caramel in the aroma. Flavor is grapefruit, passion fruit, toasted grain, walnut with the bitter pith and toffee. Light-medium bodied with medium carbonation and a nice balance.

12 oz can served in a Tervis at the 2017 Fall ASMF.

Hazy copper colored body with a weak head that leaves minimal lacing. Coarse carbonation bubbles. Mild fruity aroma with a stronger, danker, fruity flavor. Both grapefruit and passion fruit can be detected.
Medium body.

Pours a tinted gold, frothy, ivory colored head with uniform lacing. Tons of fruity nectar on the nose, very sweet and tropical indeed. Stone fruit and some pepper. Full and flavorful on the tongue. More pine came through than expected but it retained the tropical zest and citrus. A pleasant breadiness. Mango in the finish and a nice bitterness. Very good. If Tropical Pale were a style, this would be it.

Finhead (1830) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - SEP 11, 2017
Clear gold pour with a rocky white head. The aroma has herbal hops with mild grapefruit. It has a medium body with smooth texture and average carbonation. The taste is sort of sweet-tart with a dry finish.

2.9
Beer5000 (6769) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - SEP 11, 2017
Tap @ Bakgården Både &. Slightly unclear golden body with a big off-whit head that fades quickly. Aroma has pale malt and slightly sour fruit/berries. Flavor has some slightly harsh, bitter fruitiness with lingonberry and some sweet malt. Medium body and aftertaste in the same direction. Not very balanced or refreshing at all, mostly harsh. Might be something wrong here.
