Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

Bottle at home. Hazy yellow with a fluffy head. Aroma of lemon and ripe indistinct fruit. Smooth wheatty palate. Uneventful flavor profile - very light banana and clove, not much else. Dry-ish finish.

Bottle. Another very average wheat beer. Some citrus and a touch of banana. Aroma of smelly feet. Fairly smooth, yet uninspiring.

Beer pours extremely cloudy with some floaters. It is golden yellow in color with a big, somewhat dissipating egg white head. Aromas of earth, citrus and spices. Taste is sweet and lightly bitter. An extremely refreshing beverage without being light on flavor. Fabulous for the hot summer months.

Translucent hazy yellow with a minimally sized white head. Unfortunately stunted aroma, but some mild notes of yeast, malt, and vanilla are present. Light bodied and rather smooth. Perhaps overly so for a wheat. Malt, lemon, and a slight amount of hop in the finish. Although not terrible, this is an extremely light and rudimentary wheat. The macro lager of wheats if you will.

Bottle thanks to beastie. Enjoyed after a long day and a beautiful bike ride home. Cloudy gold pour with ample head. Aroma: light citrus, my kids apple juice, dust, more apples and banana-y esters. Pretty low key, though. Moderately sweet; toasted wheat cereal; short minimally bitter finish. Light body, average carbonation, but still feels a little sluggish. Overall: based on comparison with beasties rate, I gather that nostalgia/homerism is worth about a full point. Makes me fear what his rating of Mannys will look like.

Draft at the brewery. Light yellow color. Not a lot of flavor. Kind of watered down. Pass

Pours hazy straw color with a 2-finger white head. Aroma is lemony and grassy. Body is light, with a touch of a soapy feel. Flavors of lemon and grass, with a note of black pepper from the wheat.
