Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

I’m not a big wheat beer fan, but found myself really enjoying this one when eating out at a Mexican joint. Smooth and citrusy.

a decent wheat beer, heavy grain flavor, but drinks smooth and doesn’t disappoint

I really enjoy this beer. Very heavy but smooth. Great milky apperance. One of my favorites to get on tap at a bar. Also good out of the bottle. Definatly worthwhile!

Poured from 12 oz bottle. Rolled before pouring to suspend all the goodies. Pale yellow to tan with expected haze from a non filtered wheat beer. Very little to no head, no lacing. Light body with more carbonation than I expected. Slightly sweet with banana overtones and a sharp finish. Decent lawnmower beer.

On draft in Stillwater, OK. Pour was fluorescent yellow looking with a very weak head and pitiful lacing. The aroma was lemons and lemons. The flavor was lemons over some lightly bitter wheat aspects, but overall this wasn’t that great of an American wheat. If I didn’t have the choc beer a night before this (which I didn’t like), I may have been more harsh on the ratings (maybe I was too easy on the Choc beer, actually). Must have more hops in these American wheat beers. Mouthfeel was light but within the bounds that this style offers.

The aroma was kind of impressive, with some gumball, some banana, and some cloves. the flavor was a little bit too blah for me, not much going for it. some yeast and lemon zest with a little orange and banana. meh.

on tap at the Grandfalloon in Northland, Kansas City MO. cloudy pale straw yellow color, short thin foamy white head. aroma is light sour wheat malt, but dusty and husky. flavor is dryish sour wheat malt, a little chalky and yeasty. didn’t really get any of the typical fruit or clove flavors here. a bit of tartness and finishes out with a grassy/hay-like dryness.

Pours yellow in color with lots of carbonation. Great beer to drink while grilling outside on a hot day.

12 oz bottle from Soonah. Pours into my weizen glass a hazy canary yellow with a thin white head. Plenty of carbonation bubbles racing to the top. Light grain and yeast in the nose, a touch of lemongrass. Light body and flavor, a touch acidic, light wheat and clove with a hint of lemon juice. Finish is a bit dry, almost a dusty quality. A decent summer backyaed beer, but ultimately lacking overall.
