COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Boulevard Unfiltered Wheat Beer is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance. It is reminiscent of the wheat beers that were brewed at the turn of the century, before the advent of modern filtration. This easy-drinking American-style wheat beer has become our most popular offering, and the best-selling craft beer in the Midwest. 2008 GABF gold medal winner in Session Beer category.

Meh. Lot of sediment (I assume yeast since it’s unfiltered). Not bad--I usually don;t care for wheat beer---but certainly not great. Plus, junk floating in it was a bit off putting-even though i know it was fine. Would not purchase again.

Very bland per the style. Cloudy appearance was also right on target for style. 4.4% ABV makes it very sessionable.

Bottle- Pours a hazy yellow color with a slight white head. The aroma is mild with wheat and hints of citrus. The taste is thin, raw, a fully of wheat flavors and hints of coriander. It does leave a lingering crisp wheat flavor on the tongue. The taste is a little off as it's not as sweet as you would expect but it's still a pretty solid wheat beer.

Bottle from Merchants. Aroma is wheat, sweet, metallic, dusty, some earthy hop, basic. Appearance is golden, hazy, off white head. Taste is wheat, earthy hop, sweet, slight metallic, it tastes literally as it smells. Mouthfeel is light body, light carbonation, wheat and metallic aftertaste. Overall, very crushable, though lacking in pretty much every other way.

Not completely horrible for a wheat beer. I'm normally not a fan of them but this one had a not wheaty flavor if that makes sense. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Easy drinking what beer. Lower alcohol with more flavor and calories than a simple light lager. Best with food and yes it quenched a thirst

I’m a little biased because I’m from KC but this is a great basic beer. It’s refreshing without being watery like many other lighter beers.

Grainy bready wheat aroma, earthy hop. Pours a cloudy golden color with small white frothy head. Wheat bread grain flavor with subtle honey like sweetness and light earthiness. Medium light bodied with medium co2, bready finish with a light earthy bitterness. One of the better American wheat beers I've had. Simple yet interesting enough to make me want more. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Excellent light, refreshing taste. Pairs great with fresh lemon or orange slices.

From a can into pint glass. Clear yellow orange color, Bread and wheat nose, hint of citrus, high stinging carbonation. Slightly sweet. A bit of off skunkyness in the finish.
