Aroma of spicy rye and noble hops. Brown with tan edges. Off white head with fluffy retention. Taste of nice crisp hops intertwined with a light beer that exhibits slight malt character spicyness. kirkjharris (13) - Colorado, USA - MAY 26, 2014
Amber colored withe a thick white head. Pours clear with nice aroma. Rye flavor throughout. Very little noticeable hops flavor. Finish lasts with a bite on the tip of the tongue. zoucrew102 (1818) - - MAY 25, 2014
Bottle. Caramel malt aroma followed by some rye earthiness. Pours copper colored with a thin, off-white head, but what's there retains well and pretty good lacing. Starts out with the caramel malt flavor with a crisp, refreshing mouthfeel. Finishes slightly dry with the tang of the rye malt coming through strongly. Good, but doesn't really stand out in any way, good or bad. Nsanders (1136) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - MAY 24, 2014
Bottle. Orange brown with a thin tan head. Wheat, light rye notes, very bready and light smokiness. Bready taste, mildly sweet. Body is lighter and watery. Nephilium (1808) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - MAY 22, 2014
Aroma has hints of caramel, with a touch of rye spiciness. Pours a clear reddish-amber, with a thin light tan head. This is a malt forward beer, with a lot of caramel notes coming through, the rye is there with a touch of a bite in the finish. Not a lot of hop notes present. Not bad, but I probably won’t go for this one first.

Bottle. Pours a clear, dark copper color with a tan head. Light malty aroma with a hint of brown sugar. Smooth taste. Smokey malt. Dry finish. OK brew. ttoadee (1482) - Austin, Texas, USA - MAY 9, 2014
Light brown pour, no head. Nose is neutral grain. Bittersweet. Middle is sweet grain and weird carbonation taste. Finish is slightly sweet. Pedestrian, but not bad. DuffMan (10276) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 2, 2014
Bottle, shared with Parksy. For some reason I made no notes on appearance, so I’ll score it average. The nose is sweet grains, lightly caramelized. The palate is much the same, maybe a touch of cooked apple. Missing the rye character for the caramel. puboflyons (3402) - Allenstown, New Hampshire, USA - APR 26, 2014
From the 12 fl. oz. bottle labeled 3353-1033-F-BEST BY 05/18/14. Reddish amber pour with maybe a chill haze and little to no head. he aroma is indistinct but I pick up some rye grain and a clean hop note. Muted all around. Light to medium body. The taste begins with that rye grain character but then there is this explosion of caramel and bitterness. That made it at least a little interesting but otherwise it was rather ho-hum. wilnatp (692) - Minnesota, USA - APR 24, 2014
Bottle. Aroma of malt, rye, ginger, and other subtle spices. Taste is pleasant with a slight bitterness and roast coming through. I would like bolder rye notes.
