Bourbon old bounder - delicious nose of vanilla and dark fruit, brown sugar as well. Iight alcolo/bourbon and some peppery hops. Dark amber pour, tan bubbly head lots of ticky sheets of lace. Medium malty sweetness, dark fruit and brown sugar predominant. Earthy bitterness and still tons of hops. Bourbon and vanilla come through iin the finish and a strong hop presence rides out with some sugars in the finish. Good stuff. 8 4 8 4 16

Big malt, light bourbon – Dark amber in color this was a very nice brew the dry fruit and strong beer flavor was good. I wished for more Bourbon with the barrel aging. Lots of alcohol flavoring.
Draft at 09 Bigwood Fest. Clear toffee brown with tight thin off white head. Nose is beautiffuly sweet with fruit, caramel, vanilla and mellow smooth barrel. A little thin in flavor and body up front. Moves into a fig flavor then quickly picks up bitterness, tobacco, wood and finishes with some enjoyable vanilla bourbon notes. Much better than regular Old Bounder.
