Panther Room. Cloudy orange pour, white head and medium lace. Citrus hops from nose to finish, light-medium body, not very complex. A typical PNW IPA.
9/28/08 On draught at the Panther Room, Seattle, Wa. Aroma is caramel malt infused with grassy citrus flora. Appearance is hazy orange with a well maintained white head. Flavor is a bit harsh with a very starchy resin, low sweetness and somewhat sour bittering. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with a moderate carb texture and dry finish. Overall, interesting, but not easy drinking enough. BillKismet (4138) - Seattle, Washington, USA - MAY 5, 2007
This brew is made and served exclusively for the Cyclops bar in Belltown, Seattle. Was told they add an extra bag of hops (dry hopping?) to there regular IPA (which is sensational) to create this brew. Gorgeous sunset color, with a nose full of cascades! Wonderful cascade hope flavor, possibly rounded out by crystal. Just enough bitterness to give it backbone. Quite a tasty IPA.
