COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is an agressively hopped IPA that features the fruity Centennial and AMarillo varieties. Even massive dry hopping can't hide a rich, full bodied malt palate with toast and toffee notes. The finish is hoppily bitter and somewhat dry. This IPA demands respect.

Draft at the Parkway’s Day of IPAs. Orange/amber with not much head. Fairly vacant nose, medium body with light carb. Fruity palate--orange, among other citrus delights. Purely bitter resin hop finish. Classic, delicious, beautifully done IPA.

On tap at Brouwers. Cloudy amber with minimal head. Sharp pine hop aroma and taste...balanced and not over the top. Sweet malt comes through in the end.

Draught Hazy orange-amber; small white head. Slightly sweet, cakey, with a hoppy (!) overtone all the same. Good balance with sweet, heavy malts, and a good USA hops dose, dry, resiny, to the point that retronasal, I seem to get pure spruce. Well balanced, smooth, nearly heavy MF. Very good balance, rare in WC overhopped IPA’s.

UPDATED: JAN 18, 2006 Tap at Eichardt’s Sandpoint, Idaho. Hazy amber/copper, almost no carb, off white head fell quickly, minimal lace. Aroma is rather sweet malt w fresh, piney, resinous hops. Flavor is semi sweet malt with a bit of a starchy, flour taste with a good fresh hop flavor and bitterness especially on the finish. Med bodied. This IPA was OK but rather generic tasting. I’d drink it again but won’t seek it out.

Medium orange color. Medium head. Aroma is floral hops, and fruit. A full bodied IPA. Malts are nutty and sweet. Hops are floral, grapefruity and dry. The dry hopping brings out the helps balance the malt sweetness. A nicely balanced, bone dry, somewhat bitter IPA. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and dry. Aftertaste is bitter
