Poured into a snifter, the appearance was a dark brown almost brown color with a nice looking foamy creamy colored head. Nice foamy stringy lace.
The aroma had some sweet milk chocolate, gentle roast and some toast.
The flavor took all of those previously mentioned aromas to blend very nice. Quick dry ruggedly sweet aftertaste roaming into the finish in a semi-creamy sort of way.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a nice sipping quality about it. Low carbonation assisting a nice creamy smooth feel along my tongue. ABV felt spot on.
Overall, nicely done imperial stout, but I didn’t get a whole lot of oatmeal, if any. Still, I’d have this again. Capa (3403) - Kitsap, Washington, USA - JAN 16, 2017
Full of chocolate, roasted malts, light burnt malt. Creamy smooth body that has a lightly dry finish. A well made Imperial. mrjez (660) - Osaka, JAPAN - JUL 31, 2016
Keg at Beer Zen backyard party. In my red cup its looks jet black. Strong milk chocolate and oat aroma, rich malt, hint of booze. The flavour surprises with rich dark cherry and plum I didn’t really get in the aroma. Very nice. Some lingering alcohol warmth, reasonably smooth and creamy. jrodooo5 (1708) - DOVER, Delaware, USA - NOV 12, 2015
Traditional imperial stout. Good pour, great aroma, & big taste. This is a solid imperial but not enough to differentiate from its counterparts. It’s s very good beer, but just lacking that standout trait! Blairgus (4613) - California, USA - JUL 20, 2015

22 oz bottle pours dark and thick brownish black with a solid tan head. Aroma is sweet and malty. Rich roasted malts, coffee, dark chocolate and oak flavors. Very sweet. Chewy mouth feel and a smooth finish. Very tasty! chuckstout (336) - Washington, USA - DEC 31, 2014
Sweet, roast espresso aroma. Pours dark near black with minimal oily head and good lacing. Nice flavor profile and hop presence. This is a good beer. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - JUL 30, 2014
Draught into a growler. Pours an extremely dark brown color with very little head on it. Nose is roasty with some heavy chocolate elements and quite a bit of oatmeal in there as well. Taste is fairly sweet and roasty, and just a tad overly sweet for me. Still good, though. Would go great with oatmeal cookies. shoulderbroken (4255) - Tokyo, JAPAN - MAY 14, 2014
Tap at Devil Craft Hamamatsucho. Liquorice, fruity porter like aroma. Taste has bit of coke, touch of smoke, little bit of sweetness. Can’t get the oatmeal. Pretty boozy. Cherry. kramer (6682) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 21, 2014
Tap. Pours a clear dark brown, almost black, body with a small thin ring of brown head. The nose is sweet and roasty with a bit of fruitiness and oats. The flavor is very sweet with roasted and burnt malts, some rich fudge cake ilke notes. Lingering sweet finish, rather well hidden alcohol. Mouthfeel is fairly heavy and clingy with minimal carbonation. Not the best Stout, a little too over the top sweet and sticky for me.
