Serving: from tap at La Fiamma Wood Fire Pizza.
Aroma: light malt and lemon.
Appearance: small, creamy, light brown, initial head with no lacing and fully diminishing longevity. Murky, light-brown/dark-amber body.
Taste: lightly sour and citrusy initial taste and lightly bitter finish with average duration.
Palate: light-to-medium bodied with oily texture and soft carbonation.
Overall: excellent. Great palate and appearance. Unique flavor. DuffMan (10559) - the land of bitumen, beef & beer, Alberta, CANADA - APR 2, 2014
Bottle, shared with Grippitis, Parksy, and Faysal. Deep amber hue, low head that forms a persistent ring. Aroma is oaky with some peatiness and over-ripe apples. Lots of raw oak on the palate, with sweet malts underlying, sweetly peaty, again with an oxidized apple quality. Not bad, but not one I’d come back to. maxwelldeux (4374) - Snohomish, Washington, USA - MAR 31, 2014
Bottle. Pours a hazy reddish brown color with a smallish cream-colored head on it. Nose is very light, with just a bit of caramel in there. Taste is a tad sweet up front, but then settles into a moderately dry caramel flavor. Doesn’t taste too complex. It’s fine.
