Sampling glass and bottle. Pours with a thin head, dark amber colour and mild haze - not much in the way of carbonation. Aroma is very sweet without much more - some very mild whiffs of floral hops. Mostly sweet to taste, but not as potent as it is on the nose. Not as bitter as the label makes out to be - though that’s not necessarily a bad thing here. Fairly thin carbonation on the palate, consistent with how it pours. Quite a bit of bite at the end to remind you that this bad boy is 8%. Very pleasant to drink. joe19612 (3020) - camberley, Surrey, ENGLAND - AUG 14, 2017
Bottle. Pours a hazy brown colour with a thin white head, plenty of hops and malt in the aroma, the taste is medium bitterness and malty with a dry bitter finish. adasko (2233) - Poznan, POLAND - MAR 22, 2016
Very hoppy and malty aroma. A bit green and orange notes. In taste it’s not so interesting. A bit more flat and plain. But on the other site it does not completely feel like an 8% abv beer. Has a very clear mouthfeel, medium body. Very pleasant to drink. GoufCustom (2121) - HONG KONG - FEB 8, 2016

500 ml bottle bought at YATA in MOKO, Mong Kok.
Looks: Clear deep amber colour; Two finger head with crumpety off-white foam which lasts for 3 minutes; Beautiful sticky lacing with fizzy carbonation.
Aroma: Fragrant and refreshingly sweet full Ale malt, with floral nectar, strong honey, light tropical fruits, black pepper, light resins, biscuits, strong yeast, light lemon and strong fresh-cut grass.
Taste: Close to strong sweet Amber Ale malt, with roastyness, fair caramel, floral, very light grapefruit, strong molasses, resins, biscuits, strong lemon, fairly strong bitter hops and fresh grass.
Body: Full body. Dry, slick and oozy palate.
Mouth Feel: Strong Amber maltyness in a rich smooth wholesome background. Good caramel and Amber roastyness are there. Sweetness is strong but alright. 8% booze is well hidden. Good resins and lemon to round. Simple but nice!
Hoppiness: Floral nectar, light tropical fruits, black pepper, light resins and strong fresh grass in nose. Very light grapefruit, floral, resins, strong lemon and fresh grass in taste; Bitterness is very restrained for a 65 IBUs DIPA, with a lasting, medium astringent sweet-malty finish.
After Taste: Dry. Smooth, sweet and hoppy to mouth.
Comments: I look at all these nice hops listed on the label - Pacifica, Pacific Jade, Cascade and Zythos - so I was expecting a high power hoppy feast. Turns out it’s more like a rich Amber Ale with muddled and low-fi fruity aroma, nutty malty sweetness with clean and simple hoppiness. Probably one of the easiest DIPA to taste and enjoy so far, but I wish its aroma can be more fruity and varied. A neat one!
Bottle. Golden to amber color, white quickly fading head. Aroma is floral and hoppy. As with other NZ IPAs, no pine and no citrus here as well. Alcohol is completely hidden. Very good.

Poured from bottle. Little yo no head. Dark amber colour. Smells Like quince paste. Earthy tones. Nice light ipa much better than some other boundary road brews. k0mpsa (3040) - Tuusula, FINLAND - MAR 4, 2015
Bottle. Clear amber color, white head. Aroma is pleasant, hoppy, sweet malty. Nice sweet malty taste, hoppy, fruity, balanced. Positive surprise. Bule (2239) - California, USA - MAR 3, 2015
500ml bottle pours a brown color with a fine frothy head. Not much hops in this. Mild maltiness that balances the alcohol.

UPDATED: JAN 10, 2017 Surprisingly good beer from a cheap brewery. Complex aroma of pine, citrus & grass and a rich golden head. Chewy, rich taste but too sweet with ESB style esters and also salty. Hides 8% alcohol quite well. Only $5-6 for a 500ml bottle, for an OK beer, not bad. dathzo (28) - NETHERLANDS - FEB 4, 2015
Tested from bottle in New Zealand. Again on the low end of IPAs. Decent balance but nothing remarkable.
