330mL bottle. Pours a golden lager wit ha short lasting white head. Looks ok in the glass. Weak aroma which is hard to make out. The beer is very thin, totally lacking in flavour, both malt and hops. This beer leaves an almost sticky aftertaste in your mouth. I struggled to finish the bottle after i drunk a few decent beers...
Bottle in Auckland. Backlog rating from bottle collection and historic scoring. No tasting notes kept, just rating.

Can. Medium golden body, fading white head. Sweet grains, little else. Thin mouthfeel. Not worthy of premium status. GoufCustom (2120) - HONG KONG - AUG 24, 2017

440 ml can at abv 4.7% bought at Lan’s International booth during HKTDC Food Expo 2017 at HKCEC, Wanchai.
Clear golden colour; One finger head with crumpety white foam which lasts for 1 minute; Excellent sticky lacing and active carbonation; Fragrant aroma of full Lager malt, with floral, light sugar, light spices, light earth, bread, lemon and very light grass; Close to light sweet taste of fair Lager malt, with strong carbo, strong floral, sugar notes, earth, biscuits, light lime, fair to light bitter hops and light grass; Close to light body. Quite slick palate; Mouth feel is fairly good maltyness in a somewhat watery background. No off taste, flowery with low sweetness. Noble hop taste - earth, spice and grass- comes as a fair light touch. Biscuity with light lime to round. Easy!... Hoppiness is floral, light spices, light earth, lemon and very light grass in nose, same in taste but a bit stronger.
Bitterness is light for an abrupt, low astringent biscuity malty finish; Fairly dry after taste. Earthy light spicy and slightly bitter to mouth.
Comments: An ideal macro Lager will taste like this one - not exactly full malty, thin in body but without any adjuncts, with basic and light earthy citrusy hoppiness. Not top stuff, but mass appeal at its best. Drinkable!
Can - Light grains and just a touch of skunk. Clear pale gold with a rich white head. Light apple, little sweetness and a long finish. A bit perfumy but OK. Spab (4002) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 17, 2017
440 ml can from the Beer Store. Pours a clear golden colour with small white head. Aroma is quite mild with gentle grass and grains. Flavour is mostly grassiness with a light graininess. Body verging on average. Forgettable but not terrible.

Very light, very little flavour or aroma. However, it is cleanly made, but very plain. Can from LB.

Wow this is rated low.
Pours gold with a small white head. Aroma is lightly hoppy. Taste is slightly bitter with notes of bready malt, toffee, and herbal hops. Light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation. It’s nothing special but there is also nothing offensive in it. The finish is only slightly dry which, in my books, is a point in its favour. I won’t buy it again but it’s better than most American lagers. bulldogops (2726) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - FEB 4, 2017
Rating #2411 - 2016.04.09 - Can from MLCC. Clear watery yellow pour with a moderate white foam, little retention. Aroma is skunky hops, grainy. Taste is barley, mild hoppy dryness, and overall fairly plain. Finish is a little rocky, astringent. Yikes. mickymike (1) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - DEC 28, 2016 does not count
Best beer i’ve tasted, cannot believe what i’m reading, how can some reviewers say it has no flavour, the taste is sublime, a wonderful summer beer, mind you i’ve only tried the bottle format... hence dig the twist tops, wondering if possible that some reviewers are confusing it with Steinlager Pure, which is not a pleasant drop! One problem though, they stopped stocking NZ Pure at Pak n Save Sylvia Park [mt wellington], which was kind of weird as it used to sell well, as often they would run out... also my local bottle shop doesnt stock, hence where can i buy it now? cmacklin (1271) - Lethbridge, Alberta, CANADA - SEP 30, 2016
440ml can. (4.7% ABV) Pours a clear pale yellow with a medium, short lived, fizzy, white head that leaves spotty lacing. Aroma of pale malt, grass and grain. Sweet flavour that matches aroma with a mildly bitter finish. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Ok as far as lagers go, just boring. Nothing sets it apart from any other lager out there.
