From bottle 33 cl. @ home 05.08.2011. thanx to Lefty. Clear amber color with white head. Aroma sweet, malts, bit fruits. Thin body. Taste sharphoney and sweet, little bitter, dry. Don’t like it.

Courtesy of Jaghana. Corps assez aqueux. Fin miel aqueux.

Found in a 330ml bottle labelled "La Birlouette - Veinazés" at a small fromagerie in Paris. Pours a clear boring orange colour with almost no head. Strong aroma of corn, some cereal. Taste is a lot of spice and cereal, vague corn hints. Dry finish with a spice aftertaste. Interesting taste from a lager, drinkable.

DandyWolfFloyd (1324) - Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 25, 2014
Aroma - corny, caramel (cracker jack like), and stank wet cardboard Appearance - body is a golden ambler color; liquid is just a touch hazed, with some nucleation; the head is white and about 1/2" and quickly ends up a layer of foam Taste - unpleasantly wet cardboard, corny quality. There isn’t much in the way of honey, some tiny bits of caramel. Palate - body is nearly medium; the texture is somewhere between thin and thick; carbonation is average, but closer to soft; the finish is tangy and the caramel, corny, and wet cardboard quality hangs near the teeth and gums. I’m really upset. I really loved the offering they had with Bourganel Bière au Nougat, that didn’t have great ratings. However, that was good. The last two beers by Bourganel, have been really poor. Sadly, I’m wondering if I was off on my rating of Bourganel Bière au Nougat.

Une saveur miel bien trop prononcée. Cela masque tout le reste. Sans intérêt.

On tap. Clear orange. Malt and honey aroma. Medium light body. Lightly carbonated. Flavor is mostly sweet honey with some malt. Perhaps a little too sweet but I thought it was pretty drinkable.
