A pale, golden quaffing ale with excellent flavours for its strength. Pleasingly hoppy throughout without being aggressive and also possessing of a fine aroma. The finish is dry with a small twist of sweetness at the end.

Pale and ever so slightly hazy (from the cask). Well balanced beer with a sweet malty aroma, a refreshing bitterness and a biscuity citrussy aftertaste. Good for quenching the thirst.

Straight from the cask at the Horseshoe Inn. Pours straw gold with no head. Aroma is sweet and fruity, and there’s peach and flowery notes in the taste. Really very pleasant.

ForlornHope (535) - Hampshire, ENGLAND - JUL 24, 2016
Bottle at home. Pours a clear light amber colour with a thin white head. Slight aroma of citrus hop. Taste is sweet to start with a gentle balancing bitterness. Crisp malt, some fruit. Lively carbonation, refreshing but underpowered. Nothing special.

Straw colour with fast diminishing head. Very light carbonation. Light bitter & biscuit taste with a fruity refreshing palate.

Hop Inn, Southampton. Fresh and drinkable. I could drink this all day long. Pleasant opal fruity flavours in a refreshing biscuit malt; all topped by hop leaf fresh English hops. The combination and balance of flavours is wonderful. Perfect session bitter.

ManVsBeer (10928) - Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 3, 2014
Huddersfield Beer Festival. Golden with a small head. Session ale with a balance of malt and hop, with the former slightly more dominant.

On cask at Three Judges, Glasgow - Orange gold body with a thin white head. Nose is orange citrus, with a bit of grassiness to it. Soft mouthfeel, a juicy malty taste, with a rather bitter finish. Not too bad.

Cask by handpump at Bon Accord, Glasgow - clear golden, thin creamy off-white head, weak fruity citrus aroma, excellent lacing, creamy malty texture, fruity, hint of resin, quite refreshing, sweet malty finish

berkshirejohn (6617) - Bracknell, Berkshire, ENGLAND - JAN 30, 2013
Cask at the Bell Hotel, Alresford. Bright amber with a scummy white head; plain malty aroma; simple, sweet and malty flavour; then lightly bitter with a biscuity finish. Good for a quick quaff, but nothing more.

Finn (7916) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 3, 2013
The 8th Redhill Beer Festival 2 Nov 12. Gyldengul. Skumfri. Bra sviske/fruktaroma. Litt tynn på smak. Svakt syrlig ettersmak.

Rune (13383) - Tromsø, NORWAY - DEC 1, 2012
Gravicask, half shared with Finn. Bright surface to a clear golden body. Aroma of semi-dry, citrus fruits. Fruit hoppy taste of sappy oranges with a mild, dry bitter twist to the finish. Thirst quencher (Redhill Beer Festival,02.11.2012).
