All aboard for this premium ale flavour experience. Fabulously full and ridiculously rounded, Swift Bitter has a strong malty undercurrent to match its hop character. Made with Maris Otter and Crystal malt plus Target Challenger and North Down hops.

On cask at Alexanders, Kendal. Appearance - amber with a decent head. Nose - light toffee. A hint of biscuit but you have to look for it. Taste - light toffee cake. Some custard. Very subtle but long lasting. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a long and fairly dry finish. Overall - nice interesting bitter. Tasty but is it sessionable?

Cask @ Bridge Bier Huis, Burnley. Copper with a small glow and a smooth head. Has a sweetened berry aroma, but not over stated with a sweetness in its taste alongside a medium bitterness and a touch of grain.

Pigs Ear. Clear amber beer. Residual pale tan head. Palate is semi dry. Low carbonation. Sweetish malt with a trace of lactose. Apples dominate. Dry finish. Too green by far.
