Wonderfully hoppy traditional India Pale Ale. Full flavoured with an intense floral aroma, finished with well balanced bitterness.

Watery, no foam, virtually no nose. Citrus and grassy notes. Below average but good for a Discounter Ale.

Nice surprised for a fine price offered by Lidl Germany. Classic hoppy nose with some citrus and even orange. Taste a bit more malty than expected but very fresh with a warm bitterness. Towards the end a bit more bitter and hoppier. Fine one.

Bottle, 0.50l. Aroma of wheat, tropical fruit, stone fruit, caramel and flowers. Pours clear amber color with medium soapy off-white head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet toasted malt and mild fruity notes, following is grassy and slightly medicinal, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is moderate bitter. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Beer with typical English characteristics...

Angenehmes Aroma, Grapefruit, Ananas. Dunkel goldgelbfarben. Wenig Schaum. Geschmacklich recht leicht, daher auch sehr süffig. Trinkbar! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2017 Pours clear dark Amber, fairly thick white/cream head. Light bodied and fairly lively in the mouth considering the style . Citrus with bitter sweet malty taste, some honey and roasted nuts . Says ipa on the bottle but to me it's a decent fusion between ipa and a more traditional bitter. Would have again.

500ml dark bottle, filtered, from Tesco. Part of a four local ales for £6 deal. Very drinkable malt accented premium bitter with lingering bittering hops. A well made traditional English beer.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2017 Helle Kupferfarbe, weißer Schaum. Geruch leicht fruchtig und malzig. Geschmack malzig und dumpf bitter aber wenig hopfenaromatisch, etwas metallisch.

(bottle) Clear, deep golden to amber colour with a slightly off-white mid-sized frothy head. Fruity and delicately biscuity malty aroma with shades of toffee and a touch of floral and slightly woody hops. Mildly sweet and bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft, almost a bit tame carbonation. Slightly biscuity cara-malty taste with present fruity and slightly resiny and woody hoppy accents; balanced sweet-bitter finish with complex hoppy notes. Good. 01.VIII.17

0,5 l bottle, 0,99 € at Lidl Germany. Pours out clear pale copper with a mighty frothy head. Looks really good. Restrained british hopy smell. Taste starts also british hopy. Dry malt, pleasant long lasting bitterness, less floral. Hints of citrus in the background. Really a nice shot. Never expected this at Lidl.
