Bottle, 500ml. Sourish aroma of coffee and mild vanilla, yeast. Medium body, hardly watery. Coffeeish notes dominate at first, with only a wee hint of vanilla. Some liquorice. More bitter towards the middle with clear espresso notes. Mild hops in the background. Finish is bitter, of dark chocolate, espresso. Hints of vanilla in the lasting aftertaste. Clear-cut coffee stout with only a smidgen of vanilla notes. Might be even better with more body.

Butelka 500ml. Ciemno-brunatne z rubinowym refkeksem. Dodatkowo ciemne owoce i duza dawka palonych slodow. Jak dla mnie za duza karbonacja.

Taste of lightly roasted malts, vanilla, some dark fruits, slight coffee and subtle chocolate. Light bodied but flat carbonation. A sweetish, roasted vanilla finish. A nice, sweet porter with underlying roasted and coffee flavours. Little thin but enjoyable.

Bottle from a supermarket in Somerset. Pours mahogany with a frothy cream head. Sweet vanilla aroma. The taste has roast malt flavours, slight chocolate with strong vanilla. The body is fairly thin. At first the vanilla was a bit dominant, but seemed to fade after a few sips. Decent.
