Dark brown in colour, with a subtle vanilla aroma. The vanilla sweetness contrasts nicely with the slight bitterness from the roasted barley and chocolate malts

StDevil (84) - POLAND - SEP 13, 2015
Light brown beer with a white small head. The aroma of chocolate and some vanilla. The taste of chocolate and a little roasted. The beer is watery, light and drinkable. Not Bad.

Swaroga (2224) - Warszawa, POLAND - AUG 7, 2015
It’s dark brown and we can easy see through it. The head is small but lasts and has a creamy colour. Aroma is milk chocolate, orange and vanilla. Flavour has a strong vanilla background, good chocolate back bone yet it is watered down and makes this beer easy to drink. In this case it isn’t destroying the beer since its still quite rich and enjoyable. That’s a proper pint.

StueyD (1586) - Heacham, Norfolk, ENGLAND - JUL 13, 2015
A dark reddish brown coloured beer with a frothy but weak off white head. A strong woody vanilla aroma, some caramel malt as well. Medium dry mouthfeel. An interesting combination of smooth and slightly sweet vanilla, with a bitter pithy hop flavour and a background of dry biscuity malt, ensures a well rounded and balanced finish. Bottle from Lidl, Fakenham.

SarkyNorthener (4847) - West Bromwich (Yorkshire Expat), West Midlands, ENGLAND - JUL 3, 2015
Bottle from lidl, Burton. Dark brown beer with small bubbly head and patchy lacing. Aroma of vanilla and chocolate. Taste is chocolate, vanilla and light roasted malts. Very nice.

Lubiere (14151) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 13, 2015
A dark brown porter with a thick brown head, receding. In aroma, sweet fruity chocolate with nice vanilla, musty but nice. In mouth, a nice sweet caramel chocolate malt with light vanilla and coffee, still solid after 3 years. BB July 2012.

Aniela (4215) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUN 11, 2015
From my backlogg: Sample at GBBF 2014. Black beer with a beige head. Chocolate and vanilla aroma. Chocolate caramell vanilla flavour. A thin beer...

deanso (10101) - Chiang Mai, THAILAND - MAR 9, 2015
50cl bottle from ABCBeers. Thick creamy off white head. Vanilla aroma. Smooth vanilla aftertaste with a slight bitterness and light chocolate. Very nice.

Gorbalev (3000) - Ontario, CANADA - FEB 8, 2015
Bottle, LCBO. Dark brown, cola like fizziness when poured, cola like bubbly head that disappears. Aroma is nice - vanilla, roasted barley notes. Lots of vanilla up front but not over the top. A really neat earthy undertone in behind the roasted barley. Chocolaty as well. A very beat unique take on a vanilla porter - I really enjoyed it.
