slightly hazy copper brown with fruity herbal nose, beige lacing, gentle carbonation, toffee, vegetal bitterness, dry finish.
Cask at The Moon Under Water (JDW), Watford on 5 Nov 2012. Poured a clear, dark amber, with a dense off white head. Aroma was funky, with boiled sweets and cooked fruit, blended with some malt. Caramel sweetness in the flavour, with dried fruit and bready malt. Finish was toffee, light roast and spruce. gunnfryd (14807) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 28, 2014

Bottle 500ml. @ [ Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting, Ulfborg ].

Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, toffee. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, nutty, dusty malt. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
Light brown body, mostly headless. Biscuity, oats, simple malt bill, some woody herbal hops. Clean yeast, not much to it. Okay drinkability but not quite as smooth as the better English bitters. Simple but okay taste. (50cl bottle from Beer City)
