Cask @ Cross Inn, Heptonstall. Golden-blond with a thin head. Some hops and slighlty floral with countryside fruits evident. Has a medium-small bitterness. floydian1 (1454) - FNQ, Australia, - SEP 2, 2014
500ml bottle (BBE March 2015). ABV now 3.8%. Bright golden with a decent foamy white head that provides a firm lace. Nose and tongue of light cereal golden malts with a light hay hop presence and a refreshing bitterness. Low carbonation and body making for easy session drinking. Another enjoyable English real ale (can't get enough of them!).
