A strong golden session ale. The grapefruit nose and citrus flavours give way to a smooth, hoppy and slightly sweet finish.

Palate: sweets continue, bland, grain malts, some citrus coming up towards the finish, soft carbonation. Overall: unexciting Golden Ale, somewhat bland. Bottle from Marlow Brewery, Marlow.

Bottle from my Christmas box... Dark gold with a thin head, citrus and a little grass hops on the nose, body is spicy and grassy, with an earthy, almost Saison like body.

Cask conditioned at St. Aldates Tavern as Christmas Box, Oxford. Gold with white head. Spelty, grainy beer with a touch of sourness, some boiled vegetable notes. Not the best of beers.
