From the can, looking amber and pale through the wide mouth. Sweet caramel and corn aroma. Taste similar to aroma, watery caramel malt. Crushable bro.

24 ounce can from Woodmans in Beloit, WI, consumed in a Zywiec glass right out of the freezer, the only way to go. Pours a pale gold with a big immediately-disappearing head...nose is pretty much all DMS/creamed corn, with the faintest hint, a soupçon if you will, of fresh luxuriant urinal cake...body is just HORRENDOUS, thin and watery of course, but in this case there’s flavor to go with it, and that’s not good news: very old, thin, off, spoiled apple cider, or some kind of rancid...something...jeez, I dunno, I’m struggling here. I had three gulps, and that was honestly all I could possibly manage. I feel robbed of the 99 cents I paid for this.

Poured from 24 oz. can into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a very nice golden amber color with tons of tiny bubbles streaming up through the brew and producing a two finger head of white foam. The head has a modest level of retention, fading over time to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma of the brew is strongest of sweeter smells of caramel and a decent showing of corn syrup. Along with these aromas comes a decent amount of a metallic smell. Taste – The taste begins with a mix of a bready, light caramel, and corn cereal taste mixed with a bit of a metallic flavor. The metallic flavor gets stronger in nature as the taste advances all while the bready and the corn fade a bit. All the while a bit of a cardboard flavor develops and with a loss much of the caramel, one is left with a somewhat off metallic and cardboard corny taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of eh brew is on the slightly thicker side (for a 5 % adjunct lager) with a carbonation level that was average. A little thinner body may have been slightly better for the mix of caramel and corn upfront and may have downplayed some of the off flavors slightly better. Overall the feel was not all that bad though Overall – Not the tastiest of brews, but for the cheap price it is actually a decent go too. A good party brew.

A few days ago I thought I had a bad beer - HA! This is even worse than the world beers I’ve had from the world’s poorest countries. Totally sweet beer water and nothing more. Except some alcohol to get you wasted man. Aroma is a weird, not normally found in beer, sweet, um, not spice, sen-sen? no, some sort of cleaner/disinfectant I think.

12oz can (courtesy of Headbanger) poured into a Shaker at 41°. Color is a pale gold with light carbonation and a thin head. Aroma is corn and a touch of honey. It has a light body with a crisp mouth feel. Flavor is grain with a light sweetness. In the after taste the sweet takes on a bit of the honey that was in the aroma and just a hint of bitterness shows leaving it with a clean feel. Overall it’s not bad for Pale Lager, I’ve had much worse. Although it seems to lean on the sweet side at first, it’s actually well balanced and is easy drinking.

Bland everything..... Grains taste old, lots of adjunct and sulphur taste, so bad but shockingly not the very worst

Bonus points as it was a Halloween handout for the adults. Not completely disagreeable. However, nothing much going on either. Reminds me of one of those big tropical lagers with a bit more sugar.

UPDATED: AUG 18, 2014 Enjoyed from can while real drunk at my bands last show in Milwaukee, WI. It really wasn't that good, not worthy.
