COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A special style of pale ale that has high hop bitterness, flavor, aroma and a higher alcohol content. Originally brewed in England for the long trip to India when additional hops were added for preservation. Boxing Cat TKO IPA has a medium body with some maltiness. Three different hop varieties contribute estery citrus and tangerine notes to this fine light orange-copper color beer. Dry-hopped aggressively with Simcoe and Amarillo hops.

W zapachu cytrusy. Smak lekko słodowy, wyraźne cytrusy. Piana tworzy lacing na szklance. Mocna goryczka, nie męcząca. Pite z kranu w Boxing Cat Brewery w Shanghaju.

ACHops (1566) - Seattle, Washington, USA - JUN 19, 2017
On tap @ Roundhouse Wan Chai. Pours light pale golden with thick white head. Aroma is bright citrusy hops, faint sweetness on the back. Taste is clean juicy hops, light body, some residual sugars show but it’s minimal, dry slight dank finish. Very nice for an Asian IPA.

Hazy gold with a slight copper tinge. Medium-sized head. Aroma is hugely tropical and the taste is more of the same with a moderately hoppy bite at the end.

200ml sample glass on tap at The Roundhouse in SoHo, Central.

Looks: Clear light amber gold colour; Less than one-quarter head with residual soapy white foam; Fair sticky lacing with active carbonation.

Aroma: Quite fragrant yellow fruits, mango, floral, citrus, biscuits, lemon, grass.

Taste: Light malty very light grapefruit, thin hops and grass.

Mouth Feel: Watery, light malty, light citrus.

Comments: Too lightweight for an IPA. Very average.

Hopfiger, weich bitter-malziger Beginn mit englischer Anlehnung. Geringe Karbonisierung, kurzzeitig leicht alkoholisch. Nett. 10/11/9/10//10

First IPA from China I’ve tried and it’s a good, although a stereotypical product (well... it’s a product of China...). Hazy amber, with a medium white head. Aroma of citrus and tropical fruits and so its taste. Fairly decent, with a big deja-vu after taste.

Very good IPA. Perfect color, nice hoppy taste but not overpowering. Not much more to ask for from an IPA really.

Enorm langer bitterer Nachtrunk. - Sehr schweres, wuchtig bitteres IPA. Könnte für meinen Geschmack etwas lockerer daherkommen. (Verkostung: 13.7.2016.)

Draught @ CBC 2016, Green session, København
Pours clear deep golden with a off-white head. Aroma has notes of malt, caramel, citrus, grapefruit, peach and pine needles. Taste is medium sweet and medium bitter with a long citrus, grapefruit, peach, piney and caramel finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.
