Appearance: pale pink with some lacing. Nose: cherries, floral blossom and some yeasty malt. Taste: the cherry is quite subtle and comes in mid-palate, there’s also some malt and the famous Farmer’s wheaty, floral, bready aftertaste. Clear light crimson with a good sized white head.
Nose is pale malt, light berry fruit, grass.
Taste comprises glazed cherries, cherry Bakewell, toasted malts, grass.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, berry fruit tang in a light bitter finale.

Cask conditioned handpump Malt Shovel Northampton 13/11/12. A reddish coloured beer with an off-white head and lace. A lightly cherrified beer with a bit of tartness. Very English fruit beer in style. A reasonable body. Good enough.
