COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle, keg and can: Filtered.
First brewed in 1909 as a draft (chopp) beer. Launched as a bottled beer in 1934.
"Light, bright and crystalline beer. It is lighter, with the classic mouthfeel of a lager beer, strong body flavor, neutral aroma, bitterness level less accentuated and medium alcoholic content."

Bottled, 330ml from Beers of Europe, Norfolk. Pale gold with fizzed head. There is a corn like aroma leading to a stuffy, fusty, wet cardboard flavour. It’s a little flabby rather than crisp. Not a great beer certainly.

Lager standard, agréable sous grosse chaleur mais sans grand intérêt gustatif. Bue dans un snackbar local, quelque part au Brésil, en novembre 2010.

Another brazilian boring lager. It has a yellow-golden color with a thick head that disappears quickly. Aroma: smells like corn and some malts. Too watery

This beer is light and easy to drink, like water. The aroma is hard to distinguish and the taste, maybe slightly bitter. Overall, like a warm weather beer.

In Brazil. Some sourness in taste, a little bitterness. A little flat, no too much carbonation. Below average, didn’t enjoy it very much.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2016 330ml bottle served in a regular glass. A: Pours a pale golden yellow color forming a medium bubbled aired white head. Low retention. A small layer remains and some lacings are formed S: Smell is imperceptive. I would say some sweet grains. Still looking for the hops... Corn is a killer in the nose, becoming worst as it warms. T: Imperceptive too. Very watery. Some notes of sweet grains and corn. Disgusting taste of cardboard. A bit metallic. In overall, a crisp and bready taste. Very mild bitter aftertaste. M: VERY light watery body and strong artificial carbonation. Light corn in the aftertaste. O: Low drinkability. Drain pour beer. [ BA Review @ 10/12/2010 ]

I lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for some 5 years ... this bottled version that is available here in the U.S. does not "compete" with the real draft version that is available in bars in Brazil ... this beer is not Pasteurized in Brazil, however, the bottled version here in the U.S. Some taste, and flavor is compromised.

Bottle. Clear straw color with forthy white head rapidly disapearing. Aroma of grape. Thin body, watery, lively carbonated. Weak malty sweetness with no biterness.
