Bottle. Deep copper in colour with a tight, off-white head and decent carbonation. Sweet, pineapple and mango aroma with a touch of chocolate powder. Full mouth feel, with coffee, oak, orange and grapefruit, before a toasty, dryish finish. Perhaps a touch too much going on, but an interesting beer nonetheless.
Haha, rave boy. Breakbeat mofo. Bring the noise. Wonder what I’d do if I met the queen. Not a Beer Beauty fan, if you promote Greene King, which has happened as I was linked by her to their new ads, then you’re in it for yourself and not for the love of beer. You may well love beer, but the beer is not your motivation - your bank balance is. Still, this is a passable brew. Saying all this, we have met a couple of times and she was a pleasure to be in the company of, though not as much as Dom or Danny are. It was like a dark rave, spitting out venom and bile. They’d leave in their droves. Nice beer, well done all. Essex (51) - Cardiff, WALES - JAN 5, 2013
Brewed in collaboration with Marverine Cole, using Galaxy and Montueka hops.
Poured from a 330ml bottle into a Fullers snifter glass.
Pours a dark reddy/orange colour with a small head.
Smells of caramel like malts and fruity, citrusy hops.
Tastes very tropical, fruits like mango from the hops, and roasted caramel/toffee malts. An overriding bitterness from the hops and a quite a nice full mouthfeel.
Overall i’m quite pleasantly surprised by this brew. I wasn’t expecting much from Brains but this is not only original but tasty too. Beersiveknown (5284) - NORTHERN IRELAND - DEC 18, 2012

Chestnut brown, fruity citrus centennial aroma with chocolate malt and light body astringent finish.
