Cask handpull at Muggletons, JDW, Maidstone. Gold, slight haze, lasting beige head. Toffee caramel bitter, it’s ok if a bit to much on the caramel for me. Some dryness on finish. Bullit (4801) - Buffalo, New York, USA - APR 10, 2010
Cask @ Edward Wylie, JDW. Slightly hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is slightly hoppy and fruity. Flavour is fruity, hint of citrus. Less than average. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - APR 9, 2010
Cask conditioned gravity dispense Eastgate Northampton. A golden coloured beer with a loose off-white bubbly head. Grassy in the nose and mouth but with a high level of bitterness. Straightforward but drinkable enough. chriso (7536) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - JAN 28, 2010
Cask (handpump) at the Museum Tavern, Bloomsbury, August 2009. I think this was probably a special but I’m not entirely sure. Attractive rich amber colour. Thin but lasting head. Pleasant and fruity. Straightforward but tasty enough. I’m not usually a big fan of Brains beers but I enjoyed this more than most of the standard Brains fare.

Cask-conditioned at the Globe, Frampton Cotterell, S Gloucestershire 06/09/09. Inviting, clear amber in colour with a billowy white head that left rings down the glass. Aroma of grassy hops, apricots and a touch of hay. Flavour of biscuit malt, with a trace of citrus and decent dry finish. Good.
