Bottle. Amber colour, thin white head. Very little on the nose, sweetish malt flavours, little in the way of hops. Thin and watery, not up to much at all!
Can. Slightly fruity and sour, watery, a little hop bitterness and malt sweetness, good drinkability. pijepiwo (431) - - AUG 4, 2015

Lovely caramel aroma and a golden honey amber colour. What an ale should look like. Mild hoppy and bitter tasting with caramel undertones. Lingers.

500ml bottle from Beers of Europe Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Sweet biscuit malt aromas, light metallic tang. Taste has a sweet finish and faint hops, but not much going on. Pretty watery.

Out of date bottle from B&M but still fine. Copper-golden and not much head. It has a very small sweetness and a medium bitterness at best. maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - OCT 13, 2013
Bottled 05/10/13. An amber coloured beer with a whitish head. A malty old fashioned bitter. A bit of a tinny aroma with some fruit in the mouth. Dry raisin. Obvious pasteurisation, It’s OK. gegwilson (3676) - North Yorkshire, ENGLAND - OCT 11, 2013
Bottle from B&M. Pale amber ale with good foamy white head. Slight floral citrus aroma. Refreshing and easy drinking, but lacking any complexity. To be expected for the strength. DruncanVeasey (8225) - NUNEATON, Warwickshire, ENGLAND - OCT 2, 2013
From B&M Hinckley. Clear bronze slicked with white.
Decent aroma with caramel-draped fig and raisin. Similar chewy dried fruit, watery toffee and cereal flavour. Specks of aniseed/Allsorts as from so many brown regional bitters. Humdrum but perfectly pleasant.
