SA Gold is a full-flavoured, hoppy and refreshing golden ale, brewed at the home of the famous Brains SA in Wales. Careful use of Target hops creates a satisfying bitterness, perfectly balanced by vibrant citrus aromas and complex hop flavours from late-hopping using Cascade and Styrian Goldings. A deliciously satisfying and refreshing pint!

Bottle. Pale orange, small white head. Drank socially without taking notes - numbers only rating. Malty, soft bitterness, a bit meh.

Disappointed by the lack of taste to this beer. Tasted like any generic lager

A spectacular beer. I have tried can & bottle, can is far better. Deeply satisfying hoppy ale. As good as it gets from a can I think!

Bottle from Sainsburys in Folkestone. Pours out in a deep golden colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of hops and straw with some caramel hints. Taste of mild hops, straw, light malt, barley, flowers and herbs. Mild and thin finish with some light unpleasant acid hints. Drinkable, yet nothing special.

citrus, golden, clear, frothy, medium sweetness, lightly bitter, medium body, thin feel, average carbonation, . its not bad at all quite refreshing after you get through the froth on top .

Very foamy head atop a golden brew. A pleasant aroma from this beer gives it a freshness. The hoppiness is medium in intensity but the beer is refreshing and light. Very enjoyable.

Brains sa. Gold in my opinion is a fantastic bottled beer that is most palatable beer I’ve ever tried

500ml bottle from Tesco - Hazy pale golden colour, medium white lacing head. Fruity aroma of ripe oranges and lime. Taste is rather on the sweet side, citrus fruit with a feint hint of bananas. Okay, but nowt special.
